Chapter 12

-Kelvin-

Umalis sila JM dahil para daw sa isang band practice. Hindi naman sumama si Sofie para daw may kasama ang nanay ni JM. Ako naman kasama ang mga kapatid ko at nakipagkamustahan.

Alex is with Sofie, she told us she wants to have some tips coming from her. Ngayon ko lang napagalaman na sakit na sakit na ang ulo ni Nate kung paano masasabi sa kaibigan niya na crush niya ito. Buhay nga naman. Parehas pa kami ng kapalaran ata ng kapatid ko na mawawala yung taong mahal namin.

"Kuya could we talk?" Jace suddenly ask me.

"You're imagining things Jace." At paalis na pero pinigilan niya ko. "I am not kuya at kung mahal mo ipaglaban mo. Do not let your fear strike you." And after that she left.

Akala ko nagdududa na siya pero ngayon sigurado na siya. Kung alam ni Jace ibig sabihin masyadong halata na ang mga kinikilos ko pero kahit na mali pa rin yung gagawin ko.

The day ended nicely at wala ang mga asungot na kaibigan ni Sofie pati na rin si JM. Si Jace nagyayang mag-inuman kami. Pumayag ako pero hindi pumayag si papa na sumali si Alex at Nate kasi halos sampung taon pa lang sila. Sa bar na malapit kami mag-iinuman at masaya kasi pumayag si Sofie na makipag-inuman sa amin. Makakapasok kami sa loob kasi pagmamay-ari yun ni papa.

"I'm ready." Sabi ni Sofie at paglingon ko. She's a goddess. Ang ganda niya seductive yung suot niya. When I look beside her I saw my sister grinning with a glee.

"Let's go." She said and drags us both towards our car.

It goes well yung inuman namin. Nagsaway silang dalawa while I am watching them from afar. Ang kinasimangot lang ng mukha ko ng may tumawag sa kanya.

"Excuse me. I have to take this call." Sabi niya at tumayo. Si Jace naman bumulong sakin. "Kuya sundan mo." At sa di ko mawaring dahilan sinunod ko ang kapatid ko.

"Hello?" sabi ni Sofie sa labas habang nakalagay sa tenga niya yung cellphone. "I simply hang-out with Kelvin and Jace, don't fret, yourself. Uuwi din kami and besides kila tito Enrique naman itong bar." And she listen to the person she's talking to. "Jaylord, uuwi ako agad. I didn't drink much. You knew me, we always drunk ourselves to death in the States but now I will not going to do that. I'll come home in your arms. I promise. Bye babe." And she ended the line. Hindi ko matiis yung narinig ko kaya napilitan akong magsalita.

"Naghihintay na boyfriend mo." Sabi ko habang nakasandal sa pader.

"Wala ka na doon kung naghihintay si Jaylord o hindi." Sabi niya at dinaanan niya ko para makapasok ulit sa loob pero hinigit ko siya at hinalikan sa labi. Kahit lasang lasa na ang alak sa bibig namin ang sarap pa rin niyang halikan.

"Jaylord." She moans kaya napatigil ako and look at her. I almost tore her dress.

"Sorry." Sabi ko.

"It's okay lasing ka na. I want to go home and be with Jaylord." sabi niya at saka umalis.

-Jaylord-

Pagkauwi namin wala sila Sofie. Kaya I call her

After a few rings she answered. "Hello?"

"Where are you?" I told her. Gabi na, kaya ako nag-aalala.

"I simply hang-out with Kelvin and Jace, don't fret, yourself. Uuwi din kami and besides kila tito Enrique naman itong bar." She assured me.

"Baka mapahamak kayo at sa bar pa. Sofie, it is unsafe at this hour."

"Jaylord, uuwi ako agad. I didn't drink much. You knew me, we always drunk ourselves to death in the States but now I will not going to do that. I'll come home in your arms. I promise. Bye babe." And she ended the call. Nanggagalaiti ako sa galit. Kasama ni Kelvin si Sofie and I know they both love each other at dahil sa sobrang galit ko napabato ko ang cellphone ko.

"Relax Jaylord. Sofie is in good hands. Hindi maglalasing ng sobra yung mga yun at it is my bar. Safe sila doon." Tapik sakin ni Mr. D'luxed.

"Mister D'luxed. Where is that bar? I want to assure they are safe." I asked.

"It is around the block. Yung only bar paglabas nitong village." He said and I run as fast as I could while I shouted at him. "Thank you, sir!"

After ten minutes dumating agad ako dito sa sinabi ni Mr. D'luxed and to my surprise I saw my girlfriend and her lover making out. Hinahalikan na ni Kelvin ang leeg ni Sofie when she blurted out my name, hindi naman ako nakita ni Sofie. I assure that because her eyes are closed.

"Sorry." I heard Kelvin said.

"It's okay lasing ka na. I want to go home and be with Jaylord." sabi niya – na naging rason ng ngiti sa labi ko ngayon – at saka umalis. Gusto kong umalis sa kinatatayuan ko pero it is too late nakita na ko ni Sofie and she run towards me and hug me.

"Jaylord!" She said. "Sabi ko sayo don't worry."

"If I didn't come here, you will have sex with him."

"Of course not." Mabilis niyang sabi. "Bigla niya kong hinalikan but I stop him. Sayo lang ako Jaylord, I promise that to you babe." And she gives me peck on my lips.

We both go back together. Mas nauna pa sila Kelvin dito pagdating namin dito we are both laughing together.

"Oh ayan na pala yung hinihintay mo, Jace." Sabi ni Kelvin at saka tumayo at umalis. Yung Jace naman nagulat. "Anong ako?" sabi niya. "Sofie, tulog na ko ah. Hinihintay na ko ng mga kapatid ko eh. You know naman ate na." She said at umalis.

Kami naman ni Sofie dumiretso na sa kwarto ko dapat kasi matutulog siya sa kwarto niya pero mas gusto raw niyang katabi ako. Sofie has been open to everything. We make love again that night and sleep under the sheet.

Dumating ang araw ng O.U. Ball at lahat kami pupunta. I am Sofie's escort and the rest kapwa anak ng board ang partner nila. Pagbaba ni Sofie with her creamy white gown, I saw in my peripheral vision na napamangha si Kelvin and when she was already in my arms Sofie smile at me and even fix my bowtie.

"Hanggang ngayon di ka pa rin marunong magayos." She said while fixing my bowtie.

"Nandiyan ka naman para ayusin." And I peck her on her cheeks.

"Tss." I heard Kelvin and he left with the others.

"Anong nangyari doon?" sabi ni Katsumi

"Selos lang yun Karl Thompson Umirdad." I said.

"Shit bro! Don't call me by my full name." He said and all of them laugh.

I look at my girlfriend and she is laughing with them but I know that her laughs were fakes. I know your loyalty lies to me Princess Sofie Grey-Tyler but does your heart's loyalty lies to me?
