Chapter 21

-Sofie-

It is been a week since I didn't get out of my room. I only eat, cry, call Jaylord, listened to music, watched Jaylord's movies and everything.

"Sofie?" My mother said after she knocked on the door. This is like her sixty-third times knocking on my door. I didn't answer her and I think she already know that I don't want someone to talk to. Or so I though, she open the door with the key on the ignition and she went through me. "Baby, come on. Lumabas ka naman dito."

"I will not going to go out there while Jaylord and me are not yet back together." I said.

"Baby, I know what happened. Jaylord told us."

"He told you? Did he come here?" I told her while I hold her shoulder.

"Baby, relax." She said while taking off my hands on her shoulder and holds them in her hands. "He didn't come here but he told your Dad about it and he called me and told me to keep you safe." I immediately remove my hands on her hold and fold my hands in my knees.

"He does really leave me. Bakit niya ko iniwanan? Bakit?" I said and sob again.

"Baby is it true that you fell in love with Kelvin?" she said and I nod. I will not going to hide that to my family. That was a mistake dapat magpinsan lang ang turingan namin. "Are you having feelings for Kelvin right now?" I shook my heads.

"Very well be cheerful please. Your tita babes is here with Kelvin and the others. Bumaba ka doon para hindi naman nila mapansin na wala ka doon." And with that umalis na si mommy.

I still stay at my room for an hour bago bumaba. Hindi ko alam kung bakit pero gusto kong may makitang tao. When I went downstair, I saw Nate playing his PSP while Jace and Alex are watching.

"Sofie!" sabi ni tita babes and she hug me.

"Hi tita." I said and I walk away from her after the hug. Lumabas na lang ako ng bahay at nakita ko si Kelvin kasama pala niya si Cryzel. Nagulat pa nga sila sakin.

"Sofie." Sabi ni Kelvin.

"Oh, hey. Okay ka na?" I said and he nod. "Thank you nga pala dinala mo ko sa cabin ko." He said after the nod.

"Wala yun." And I was about to walk again when he spoke. "Sorry Sofie, hindi kita napaglaban. Noong araw na yun dumating sila mama at nakita nila kung anong nangyari sa atin. I want to fight for you pero pinarealize sakin ni papa na ako yung hadlang sa inyo ni Jaylord."

"Ngayon mo lang narealize?" I said and face him. "Ngayon mo lang narealize yun when in fact nasira na ang relation namin ni Jaylord. He left me kasi kahit anong gawin ko kahit si Jaylord na yung sobra kong mahal, I can't keep on worrying about you. Kasi pinsan kita pero na-misinterpret ni Jaylord akala niya mahal pa rin kita na parang pagmamahal ko sa kanya." I sob and he hugs me and smoothes my back. After a few seconds, he looked at me. "I am sorry. I'll do anything, I am here as your cousin. Oo mahal kita, hindi bilang pinsan pero I am doing my best to love Cryzel. I like her and I know I'll love her someday. Balik natin yung dati. Let us bring back the past like Sofie and Kelvin the two people who treat each other like brother and sister." And with that nakita ko sa mga mata niya yung sincerity na yun din ang gusto niya. With that, I nod in agreement because I also want to bring back the past.

After that day happen, hindi man bumalik ang pagiging masiyahin ni Sofie pero at least bumalik yung dating kami. Sometimes inaasar niya ko kay Cryzel pero sandali lang yun at gusto ko yung ginagawa niya.

"Natuturuan ang puso. Kaya nga may salitang move on kasi tinuturuan mo yung puso mong tanggapin na hindi kayo pwede. Kaya sundan mo na ang prinsesa mo baka iwan ka rin niyan tulad ng ginawa sakin." She said to me one time nung nagtatawanan kami and Cryzel saw na napaakap sakin si Sofie because she's been scared by Nate.
