Chapter 15

-Sofie-

Pagkabalik ko dito sa OU sinalubong agad ako ni Jaylord. I told him what I've done and he forgives me. Bakit kasi sobra niyang understanding, I am not right for him. I hurt him so many times pero hindi ko kayang iwan siya ngayon iniwan na ko ni Kelvin. I need my bestfriend and he is all I've got.

Naglalakad akong mag-isa sa hallway when I bump him.

"Kelvin." Sabi ko pero hindi niya ko pinansin at iniwasan na lang niya ko. Pinigilan ko siya sa paglakad gamit ng paghawak ko sa kamay niya. "Bakit mo sinabi yun sa sulat pero paulit ulit mo akong sinasabihan noon na mahal mo ko? Anong nangyari na doon?"

"I used you to forget Yannie. I told you that I love you para maniwala ka, paguluhin kita. I hate JM as much as I can remember and because you are his precious treasure I have to get you and I get you, now I'll throw you like a trash."

Sa pagkakasabi niyang yun nasampal ko siya.

"Sana hindi na lang ako bumalik. Sana hindi na lang ako nagpakita sa iyo kung gaganituhin mo lang ako. I've risk everything just to be with you for that day. I betrayed Jaylord for you."

 "It's your fault and not mine." With that he left me crying in this precious hallway.

-Yannie-

I don't know how that happen but it is makes me sick. Kelvin hurt her so much even he loves her. I maybe mean to her but that is not my nature and that's not my really intention. This is why I am being mean to her so that she will stay away from Kelvin the first time I laid my eyes on her I know that she is a fragile girl.

"Sofie?" I said while I try to stand her up. She has no strength to stand due to her crying. I lift her up and place her arms to my shoulder then my arms around her waist and guide her to her cabin. I knew where her cabin was, I place her in her bed and I call my boyfriend. "Karl I need you." I said in the other line.

"What's wrong?" Karl said in the other line.

"It's Princess."

"Si Sofie? Anong nangyari kay Sofie?"

"I don't know but she needs her friends right now." And with that I ended the call. After a few minutes dumating na agad sila Karl at ang mga kaibigan niya.

"Si Sofie?" Jaylord said.

"Nasa room na niya, natutulog." I assure him.

"Anong ginawa mo kay Sofie?"

"Hoy pare, siya na nga ang tumulong siya pa ang may kasalanan." Pagtanggol sakin ni Karl.

"Malay ko ba talaga kung yung sinabi mo ay totoo, Katsumi. Harapan ko nakita kong sinaktan niya si Sofie."

"I did that to protect her, JM. I know Kelvin so much that I knew na kapag nangyari to si Sofie lang ang masasaktan. I wanted to protect her by being mean to her na para sa tingin niya sa sobrang mahal ko si Kelvin na kaya kong pumatay at I promise you something, remember?" I explained. He looks at me so much with his angry face then it smoothens into a smile.

"Wala na tayong magagawa nangyari na ang nangyari. All we need to do is to make her move on." JM said at umupo sa upuan.

"Pare parang wala lang sa iyo." Sabi ni Cedrick.

"Sa totoo lang pagod na ko, Seth. I wanted to go back in the States but Sofie needs me. Kahit ilang beses pa niya kong traydorin dahil kay Kelvin tatanggapin ko pa rin siya. Sofie needs me, I could be her rebound as long as she wants. I could be blind again that she loves me more than Kelvin as long as I am giving her happiness."

"Pare tawag diyan martyr." Sabi ni John and the others laugh.

"Oo nga martyr ka na JM. Pedro Calungsod ang peg." Sabi ko naman at lahat sila nagsalita maliban kay JM. "Ang batang martyr."

           

It's been hours that Princess is sleeping. May mga times na sisigaw siya at iiyak and Jaylord will be fast as Flash when running towards her to calm her. Just like now, he is inside of Sofie's room again. The others went to their classes but Jaylord decided not to go to any of his class and so did I. I couldn't let Sofie be alone in here. I couldn't let my brother suffer; I helped him before to look after Kelvin for him so that he could tell to Sofie what he is doing. I never loved Kelvin, I am in love with Karl for so long but I need to do that for my brother's favor. Pumayag naman si Katsumi that time as long as I am not going to fell for Kelvin at umuwi na si Katsumi dito kaya ako nakipaghiwalay.

I am Jaylord's twin sister but when we were young I've been kidnapped and I've been drag to Palawan and I almost died that time not when the Venafrancia's save me. When I am brought back to the Williams' the Venafrancia's ask a little favor to them. They want a successor for their company because they are old and their years of living are limited and they don't have children of their own. They want me to be the successor that is why they adopt me and I use their name but I grew up with my true family. My adopted family as I called, the Venafrancia died when I was only fifteen and dad is the one handling it for the meantime, when I reach the age of nineteen, dad will transfer the company to me. That is why Jaylord and I will never have a competition who will be the successor of the Williams Group because I do have my own company.

"Yanyan." Paglingon ko si Jaylord.

"Bakit Jaymi?" I said while looking at him.

"Thank you." He said while he cling his arm in my shoulder.

"Why are you thanking me?"

"Kung wala akong maarteng kakambal. Wala sana akong katulong para sa lahat ng to. Simula pa noon nandiyan ka na para tulungan mo ko."

"Of course baby bunso. Ate mo ko at kapatid kita, yun ang ginagawa ng magkapatid." And I saw him laugh. "Pero Yannie nasaktan ako noon sa ginawa mo."

"Alin?"

"Yung pinagaway mo kami."

"Opss, that was not my intention. Gusto ko lang kasing malaman kung gaano mo kamahal si Princess but then she saw you with that girl. Sorry talaga."

"Ayos lang. Yang curiosity mo kasi hindi maawat." Tawa ulit niya.

"Alam ko."

-Sofie-

Nagising ako na madilim na sa labas. Tumayo ako kasi nauuhaw na ko. Pakalabas ko nakita kong natutulog sa sofa si Yannie at si Jaylord sa sahig. I wanted to ask or to shout pero wala akong gana. Pagod ang mata ko pati na rin ang katawan ko.

When I reach the refrigerator to get some water someone spoke. "Okay, ka na Princess?" I look at her and she is smiling at me. "Alam ko confused ka. Sorry sa lahat ng ginawa ko but let me explain to you. Please?" I've got nothing to say but all I did was to nod.

Yannie told me everything, from her childhood – that she and Jaylord are twins – until to the things she did to me. All she did was to protect me but I never listen to it. She hurt me physically so that I couldn't be hurt emotionally by Kelvin but I never listen to her signs.

"I'm sorry." That was all I say.

"It is okay, you've got nothing to apologize for. I really want you for my brother, you know."

"I am not right for him I've hurt him too much."

"Who said you are not right for him, you? Come on Princess, Sofie I mean, hindi dahil nasaktan mo na hindi ka na karapatdapat para sa kanya. Mahal mo si Jaymi pero dahil sa gagung Kelvin na yun kaya ka naguluhan. Kung ako ba naman diyan sa katayuan mo maguguluhan din. Pareho mo silang mahal pero magkaibang lebel pero mahirap malaman yun lebel na yun kaya akala mo mahal mo si Kelvin as in mahal pero sa totoo lang hindi talaga." And a reality strikes me parang tama nga siya.

I was about to thank her but she interrupt me. "Don't thank me kasi willing akong tulungan ka." And that she smiles at me for the first time that I know I found a true girl friend that I could tell my whole life.
