Month of November. Start nanaman ng pasukan. Kung sakaling di nyo pa alam, student pa rin ako. Well, I’m actually a registered nurse na but I’ve always been fascinated by the web of human minds and emotions, thus I pursued Psychology. Two more semesters and goodbye school life na! Can’t wait when that time comes.

I entered the grounds of Merkley International University. This is an exclusive school for affluent kids but a handful of students were accepted through scholarship kasama na ako dun. It’s not like my family couldn’t afford it but I passed the scholarship exam so why not use it di ba. But of course secret yan dito, having a family that could pay for this school’s tuition fee that is.

I was on my way to my building when I spotted Ricky.

“Ricky!!!” I shouted and hurriedly ran to his side. He was near the university fountain talking with some friends. I hugged him from his sides. “Namiss kita!”

Pasimpleng pumiglas siya sa hawak ko pero hindi ko sya pinakawalan bagkus hinigpitan ko pa. “Ano ba..” He calmly complained. “I can’t breathe”.

“See you Ricky!” nakatawang paalam nung mga kausap nya kanina. “Hi Adrianna!” pahabol na bati sa akin.

“Hello!” sabi ko na lang.

“Let me go.” Ricky further protested as he was trying to remove my hands from his body.

I didn’t. Instead, I leaned my head on his arms. “Sorry na, busy lang talaga ako. Alam mo naman di ba, Xas arrived.” Nilambingan ko pa ang boses ko sabay pout.

Mukhang umepekto naman ito at tumigil sya sa pagpupumiglas.

I reached for his cheeks and made him look at me. “Peace na tayo?” I asked showing my assets, two dimples. 

He reached for mine, hinaplos ito at biglang pinisil. “Ouch!” My hands automatically comforted my cheeks.

Ricky grabbed the opportunity of being released and started walking. “Wait Ricks, antayin mo ako!” I immediately followed him.

After awhile, nagsalita na ito.

“Tseh! Tseh ka talagang babaita ka!! Next time, di na kita iinvite sa mga lakad ko. My gosh! Na-OP tuloy ako dun. I even bragged about bringing stunning girls. Tapos wala palang darating. Syete napahiya ako sa mga cute guys! Gaga ka talaga Alex!” Tuloy tuloy nitong litanya.

“Aww! Sorry na Ricks, next time. Sasama na ako. Promise” at tinaas ko pa ang kanang kamay ko.

“Tseh!” Tampo pa rin ito.

We reached our classroom and dumiretso na siya sa kanyang napiling upuan. Tumabi ako dito. May kinuha ako sa bag ko. Isang LV paper bag at inabot sa kanya.

He looked at it.

“Peace offering.” I smiled sweetly.

Tinitigan nya lang ulit.

“Ay ayaw mo? Galing pa man din ito sa Paris.” I was about to take it back nang bigla nya itong hablutin.

“Oo na. Sige na peace tayo!” Sa wakas, nagpatalo din ito. Ngumiti na siya at binuksan ang bag. “Ay gusto ko ito!”
