I wake up and my headache is gone so I am ready to start the day. I change out of my clothes and do my morning exercise and clean. Today's specialty for breakfast is waffles with chocolate chips and ham. I make it and Victory walks in, she sits down almost in a daze and I serve her. She picks at her food and then leaves. I put it in the warmer to stay warm then leave I have work to do.

I have to get Maizie's dress done and looking fabulous. I walk around the living room talking to my friends on the walls. I know if I ever said that portraits talk to me people would think that I have gone batty.

The truth is, that I truly believe they talk to me. They give me many of different opinions to solve a situation. So if I am crazy, so be it. I get stuff done in the best way possible and it just works.

I move all my furniture around for the preparation of the dress. I pull out the fabric in my fabric room and bring it to my newly arranged living room. I roll out the fabric draping it over the couch and across the chairs. I lay tool out in the middle of the furnisher on the fabric. So where all the lumps are from resting on chairs and such have less tool than the middle of each chair. This creates unevenness in layers.

I then take an empty roll then roll it up. I then stand it up and slowly roll it out and sew it together. Once that is done I have a weird long sheet of fabric. I drape it on a dress form that is a bit small for grownups. I put tape where the seams will be the start to pin. The fabric works a bit against me but that is fine. I put the fabric for the skirt around and around so it is very thick, then start the cutting. I start the cutting from the top and work my way into the layers creating a gradient of sorts that just keeps repeating. I get it perfect with each layer a bit uneven, from the last creating something like a wave. I start the long journey of sewing each and every layer individually from the last. Every layer will be able to move on its own.

I am just in love with this dress. This is what the drawing said it would be. Now all I have to do is make sure it fits.
