Renesmee's Story (A Twilight Fan Fiction) *BEING EDITED*

Chapter 7- Part 1

"What is going on?" I ask after a few minutes of walking in silence. Jake knows something and he is not telling me. "You are hiding something, so please share."

"Nessie, before you became unconscious Alice had a premonition. It was about the Volturi." I cannot help but shudder at the name. If it wasn't for my power they would've killed me when I was a baby. Well, a toddler, I guess.

"Alice said that she saw the Volturi come here for some reason but she didn't see why. I think she's had another and now she knows."

"What was it?"

"I don't know, I asked Edward but he said it doesn't make sense, something is left out of her vision." Something is left out? Like what?

"Like, a black spot? Like what the wolves do to her vision?"

"Possibly. Well there's something she isn't seeing or the person doesn't want to be seen." I think about this for a while. I can't think of what it could possibly be. I see the house in the distance and Jake and I quicken our pace, skill linking hands. I knock and within a second of me knocking Alice greets us at the front door.

"Are you okay?" Where were you? We were worried."

"We did a little exploring, why?" I ask.

"You usually go home before it gets dark and-"

"I'm fine. What is going on?" I ask. "Oh and why didn't you guys tell me you had a premonition before I changed. Just because I couldn't remember it doesn't mean you hide it." I say, accusingly. Alice looks down for a quick second then back at me. "That bad huh?"

"Well I don't know," she says as we walk inside. "It doesn't make sense. I saw the Volturi come here but cannot see why we are blessed with their reunion," she says sarcastically. "My vision doesn't show me why, and it usually does." We walk to the living room and everyone is there. Mum, dad, Carlisle, Esme, Jasper, Emmett and Rose. I begin to panic, this must be serious because why else would everyone be here. If my heart still had a pulse it would be beating rapidly in my chest right now that's how panicked I am. I begin to feel myself calm down slightly, and not because I am worrying less. I look at Jaz -Jasper's nickname- with a grateful look on my face and he smiles at me.

"We have been trying to figure it out but we cannot. Someone is being blocked out and it's making the Volturi's decision difficult to see why," Carlisle says.

I begin to think about it for a while. Wait a second, didn't a passer-by Vampire tell the Volturi about me? Thinking the Cullen's had gone insane and turned a human toddler? They told the Volturi so the Volturi could deal with it. What if . . . what if another passer-by smelled me and Jake? Our smells would've been linked because we were together. What if they saw a Vampire with a Werewolf? The Volturi wouldn't be happy about our relationship, I think they found out that we do have relations with the werewolves but a romantic relation? If they found out about this-

"Nes might be onto something," dad says, breaking my from my possible discovery. I look up at him and realise I had been staring far ahead at something.

"What?" I ask, confused.

"What were you thinking about? Tell the others," he says. Oh, he heard what I was thinking. About Jake and I.

"I thought maybe they found out about me and Jake. Our relationship. We all know they don't approve of werewolves so you wonder how they'd feel about a Vamp dating one,"

"You could be right," mum says.

"I am right. If they are paying us a visit due to Jake and I, that explains why you" -I turn to Alice- "couldn't see what made them decide to come here. You couldn't see it because their decision involved Jake. You cannot see werewolves in your premonitions."

"She is right," Alice agrees.

The others say things like 'Yes', and 'That makes sense'.

"The thing is, what do we do?" I ask. "We can lie all we want but if Aro asks to see for himself there is nothing we can do because he will see everything,"

"Tell the truth, there is nothing else we can do. What I don't get is how did anyone see you. No one goes into or near the Meadow," Rose says. Oh great, it's my fault. I wanted to find our own place so Jake and I left the meadow to find our own. They probably saw us in the forest, I think before I can stop myself and immediately turn my attention to dad. I can literally see the anger radiating off of him.

"Renesmee," dad says sternly, hearing what I was thinking.

"What?" mum asks.

"She decided to do exploring through the forest," dad says bitterly.

"Nes," Esme says.

"Well I wanted to explore. Find somewhere Jake and I could hang out which wasn't yours!" I say angrily to dad. "So sorry if I wanted a bit of freedom! I'm a vampire, I think I can look after myself. Stop treating me like I'm a kid!" I say. Jake squeezes my hand but I take my hand out of his. I raise my hands in annoyance. "I think I can defend myself, and besides, if anything tried to attack me I'm faster than any threat out there!" I say.
