Caitlin arrived at S.T.A.R Labs to find Barry already there. He was working already on something and watching him, Caitlin felt bad. She knew that he was already worried about how to prevent the death of Iris and now this. She also didn't want Iris dying but she didn't know when was the best time to ask him about Killer Frost. It was also noted that she will lose herself and go mad. Everyone had become so focus on saving Iris and changing that of the future that she was unclear if this also included her. Barry looked up when he saw her standing at the doorway.

"Hey, when did you get here?" He asked.

Smiling and pushing away the thought, Caitlin came in a sat down next to him. "Just now and by the looks of it you have been here for a while."

"Yeah, I couldn't sleep and I thought maybe  going through all our plans and the evidence will open up new possibilities. I keep hoping that all and everything we do now will help in reshaping the future. Like Wells had said, nothing is written in stone."

Barry stopped when he finally looked up at Caitlin and noticed something. She was doing the thing she did when she had something on her mind. She was biting her lower lip while trying to concentrate on what she was doing.

"What's on your mind?" He asked.

Self conscious suddenly Caitlin looked at Barry. Letting a breath out she forced a smile. She thought it wasn't the time to bring up her problems. But Barry wasn't backing away either.

"Come on Caitlin. We have known each other long enough to know when the other is hiding something. We know each other more than we may even know each other and you are not telling me something," said Barry.

"I know that you have things to worry about and I don't want to sound like a broken record but I can't help but worry about what my future holds for me too. It's scaring me to know that in less than two months Killer Frost will get the better of me and she will cause havoc."

"And you seriously think that that doesn't concern me. I'm too worried about saving Iris that I haven't thought about that," added Barry. He saw Caitlin look away. She was embarrassed to think that this was true and he understood where she was coming from.

In the previous few weeks he had been worried more about changing the timeline to save Iris that he hadn't even asked how she was holding up in all this. She wa also going through hell knowing what the future held.

"Caitlin, I want you to know that you are special and I do care about you. I will do all in my power to save you And keep you safe. What happend to you, no matter how many times I apologise can't make up to the fact that I have hurt you. But I can help you in the future and make sure that you are safe."

"I know and yes at times I do feel like I'm letting  you down and I don't want to be the one that adds to your already busy schedule. You have so much pressure on yourself already and..."

But before she could finish Barry was knelt down and he took Caitlin's hand. "No mater how much I have on my plate, no matter how busy I get protecting this city, you are more important. I'm willing to give up all that I have if that means that I can keep the people I love and care for safe. I may not say this often and especially lately but you are important to me and I will always worry about you and all that come in this room."

Caitlin smiled and hugged Barry. They sat there hugging for s while as it felt nice. For a even second this felt normal like when things were simple and straightforward. Barry missed those times and sitting here with Caitlin reminded him of those times.

"Maybe we should get back to work," said Caitlin pulling back.

Barry nodded and sat down and started going through the reports. He looked from the corner of his eyes at Caitlin who was also going through the reports. She now has a smile on her face and seeing this made Barry feel slightly better.
