"Were you able to find anything about the shop owner other than what the CCPD found?"

"Not really. The usual information so far, name is Jason Hills, 36 single and the shop was passed down from his father 2 years ago when he died. He doesn't have any crimal records or anything," answered Cisco.

"Honestly, H.R do you believe what Barry is saying. Could this be a metahuman or we see just looking for an excuse. We depend on that so much that we don't even see a normal case as normal."

"It's hard to say. I have always believed in what Barry thinks as he likes to follow his gut and it isn't wrong. I have been looking at other possibilities and Iris has been helping me check is this new case has any links to the other one but if we were to talk it to court, they will be considered different individuals committed the crimes and I know you know that."

"That's what's I'm worried about. If they are done by the same pup then we will be punishing one innocent civilian and Barry won't live that down. And I worried that this is too close to his heart."

"I have faith and trust in him and I know you do too so stop worrying and help him rather than make him doubt himself. That's all that we can really do."

"Call me crazy but there is definitely a link. Yes there is the evidence but I have dealt with enough criminals to know that Ben is innocent and our real criminal is out there attacking new victims. We have to catch them before he or she stirkes again," said Barry.

"I know all that but think about it with a clear mind for one second. How are you going to do that. First of all, we aren't even meant it have been here and second you cant really change the evidence or find it somewhere."

Barry knew Caitlin was right but in that moment only thing that kept coming to mind  was saving an innocent man from going to prison. Talking in a deep breath and talking a step back to thing over all the things that they did know and what they needed to do next.

"Maybe we would get a better idea of what we are dealing with if we go back to the crime scenes have a look again," suggested Caitlin.

Barry opened his mind and a smile spread across his face. "So you to believe me about this all?" He asked.

"Barry we are partners, whatever you do, I'm going to be by your side no matter what. Yeah at times it may seem silly and all but no questions asked. Good or bad."

They made their way to the second  crime scene.

"Dad, I'm starting to worry about Barry. I know that he is great at what he does and he has dealt with much worse but I feel like this all is too close to him and he isn't thinking straight.  Don't want him to do something that he regrets," said Iris. She was pacing in the room when Joe came to his office to find her there.

"Baby, relax. I know him and so do you. He will go through hell to find the truth. We can't change his mind because he is stubborn that way, like you," comforted Joe.

Iris also worried about Barry's head space. He still worried about the part where she is killed and  time on that was also running out. He didn't have much time to change the future and having cases like this apprear made things worse. She also knew that he didn't trust Julian and he didn't want to give him too much power around the lab and their lives.

"Why is everything going wrong at once. I was starting to like how things were and it was finally going our way," said Iris.

"Honey, that is life and life will always have high and low points. It can never be too good or too bad. It will find a balance. Well that's what Barry keeps saying now says anyways.

                                     //~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~\\~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~//

Barry and Caitlin arrived at the crime scene. There was still some police canvassing the scene and the tape was still there.

"Cisco, what is happening with the jewelly store robbery?" Asked Barry.

"Well, like the other robbery, they never found the jewelly and money that was stolen. The shop owners name is Jason Hills and he has now regained consciousness."

"Yeah we know. We paid him a visit and now we are at the crime scene. Where is Joe?"

"What... Why did you go... Why you at crime... Who you... Ok never mind all that. Joe went to see what Jason knows and be careful," said Cisco.

Carefully without being seen by the police, they enetered the scene. Inside it looked like something had definitely gone down. The place was a mess shelves and cabinets were broken, glass was everywhere and at the back, the safe was also broken into.

"This explains all the injuries that Jason had. He had a struggle with the robber and he did hit his head," spoke Caitlin first. She looked and waited for Barry's reaction.

But he didn't have time to say or do anything. The door opened at the front. Barry pulled Caitlin and hid behind the wall and watched from the corner. They were expecting a police officer to come but it was him. Someone else came in and was looking around. Barry about to go out and stop them but Caitlin pulled him in and held him close.

"No, if you want to prove that Ben is innocent and that this all cases are linked then you have to see what they are after before you go busting in. If this isn't a metahuman matter then you need to think  and deal with this case like a cop not a superhero," whispered Caitlin.

She was right. They needed clear and solid evidence and their best chance of getting that May have just walked into the scene of the crime. All they had to do was wait.
