Thirty Five

Everything around Iris froze as she stood unable to move. In front of her eyes she saw Jules and John fire shots at Caitlin. She stood there not moving. The calmess of her made Iris uneasy. By the looks of it Killer Frost was out and cold as ever. By the looks of it, nothing about Caitlin was left. She had embraced her Killer Frost side. Yet then why did she look at them blankly?

The bullets shot through the air and towards her. Without any hesitation Cailtin rose her hand and to Julian and Iris's surprise the bullets froze where it was. Ice formed around the bullets and they fell to the ground like it was nothing big. Caitlin's cold glacé never moved from Jules and John. 

"What...what happened?" Said Jules confused by this all. 

"Caitlin, listen to me..." Started Iris. She stopped when finally Cailtin turned to face her. A chill ran down her back of the neck. Trying to stay calm, she started to take steps forward but stopped when Cailtin rose her hands. 

From the corner of her eyes, Cailtin saw John take a step forward and pull down the safety on the gun. He was getting ready to shoot again. Anger rose in her eyes and she turned around. A white cold cloud busts out of her hands and towards them. Jules and John flew backwards and went flying back.

Barry once again tried to free himself from the cuffs but it was no use. He heard shots fired and then another loud bang. By the sounds of it, Cailtin, Iris and Julian hadnt been able to leave. The though of cailtin barely alive and now possibly stuck here made him anxious. He felt powerless. Amanda knelt down to HR and looked him. 

"I know Barry here is the Flash, you have the brains of Cisco and Cailtin. Then you have your own  metahuman expert Julian. Joe who is the ears and eyes into the CCPD. I still haven't figured out what Iris and you bring to this team?" Asked Amanda. 

"I'm the comic relief," joked HR. 

Barry couldn't help but smile slightly at this. Even at a time like this he was joking. Then he saw something move at the entrance. Joes head popped in as he scanned the room. Only seeing Amanda, he nodded towards Barry. Relief took over as he now knew that they had a chance. 

Joe entered the room pointing his gun at Amanda. "Hands up and step away from them. It's over  Amanda. I have the CCPD surrounding this place as we speak," warned Joe.

He slowly walked towards Barry. Amanda stood up but didn't move. "How can you be sure that I'm not hiding another device that will enable and you won't remember anything." 

"Because like you said. We have brains on our team. You really think that Cisco didn't figure out a way to finally be a step ahead of you," smiled Joe. 

Amanda turned to Cisco and he was also smiling back at her. Joe picked up a round ball and pressed a blue button. As if an invisible force field spread around them. 

"We figured out that even though you have been using meta human DNA to spread your this memeory loss thing. It however still have electromagnetic feild. This device that Joe just activated reverses this and neutralises the field... Pretty much your memeory thing is useless. And we also did our research. We know that the DNA is yours, you are the metahuman." 

"You have a believing that someone else was involved and we went on a wild goose chase. After you killed that scientist, we realised that you were the brains behind  this whole thing and you had others working for you. And when Julian finally managed to work out the DNA and found a match... It was you," explained Barry. 

Joe knelt down and opened Barrys cuffs. Getting up he sped around Amanda. She looked down and found her hands were now cuffed. She struggled but in vain. 

"Have you guys got this?" He asked Joe and he un-cuffed Cisco and HR. 

Joe nodded and Barry sped out of the room and towards where he had left the others.

Barry came to a holt as the the scene became clear. He stood in the middle, one side Iris and Juilan stood surprised. On the other side Jules and John struggled to get up. The room was cold and ice crystals was spread around the room. His eyes finally stopped on Caitlin. She stood I'm the middle of the room. Cold fog coming out of her hands. Straight away looking at her he understood. Caitlin wasn't the one standing in front of them. It was Killer Frost.

"Cailtin, please stop. Look at me. This isn't you. You don't want to hurt them," said Barry. 

Cailtin tuned to Barry and gave her the same glacé. "How would you know what I want and how I feel?" She asked in the same cold voice that matched the look on her face.     

"I know you, we all know you. You aren't her and you have always fought her off because deep down you know that thats not who you are. You aren't a killer, you help me protect this city," said Barry. 

Caitlin slowly placed her hands down. They saw that for a second her eyes went brown and that same caring Caitlin stood in Front of them. Then that was gone just as fast as it had come. 

"How can I believe that is what I truly want. As far as I can remember, you didn't really tell Caitlin enough. You just kept telling her that this should be pressed away deep inside her. What was it that you wanetd to hide so badly?" Questioned Cailtin.

"Cailtin, I know that you don't remember anything  about being Killer Frost and what she can do, but trust me. We only want what is good for you." 

Before Cailtin could respond, there was a loud bang and everyone turned to face the source of this noise. Eveyone tensed up when they the figure came closer and reaveled to be the last perosn they expected. 

Savitar stood there and without saying anything just rose his hands towards Cailtin. 

"I'm here for you. These people don't deserve you and what you can do. I have been waiting  patiently for this moment and finally it's here. Don't worry, I won't hide anything from you and answer all your questions, unlike the Flash," said Savitar in his deep voice.

Barry turned to Cailtin and saw her watch Savitar with questioning eyes. She was thinking of actually going with him? But he stepped forward and stood in between Savitar and Caitlin like a wall protecting her. He would fight and die than let Savitar come even close to take Caitlin with him.
