Cisco came Into the cotex to find Barry sitting alone. He didn't look too happy. Who could blame him. The days were going by and they hadn't found solution to any of the many problems that they faced. How things had chnaged. At one time their biggest problem was stopping a metahuman from stealing and now they were dealing with a so called monster. Someone they didn't even know who it was or how to stop him from killing. Then again Iris's death wasn't the only thing they had to change.
"Are you ok there Barry? Asked Cisco breaking the akward silence.
Looking up, Barry shook his head. No I keep thinking and rethinking strategies that I can use to save Iris or change something that will have a chain reaction to helping us all in the future. I thought if I manged to save that innocent man, then that would have some effect on the future. But..."
"Caitlin got hurt in the process and we may have a problem on out hand rather than a solution," finished Cisco.
"Yeah but the more I think about it the feel that Caitlin losing her memory may come to out advantage."
Cisco was confused by this. How was this possibly any better, "I have lost you there."
"Caitlin doesn't remember anything about the whole future thing. She only knows that she posses abilities and after learning that the necklace is the only thing keeping her safe, she isn't taking it off anytime soon. We have to make sure that she doesn't learn about this all. We have a chance to make one thing different," explained Barry.
"So you want to lie to her. I don't know, hiding the truth from her isn't the best. She will be pissed when she finds out.
"I know but that is the only way I know I can keep her safe. It's killing me not being able to help or stop this all from happeneing. I'm willing to take this chance if that means that Caitlin walks away from this unharmed. Her not knowing the fates of us is better for now."

"Hey, you must be Iris. Barrys girlfriend?" Asked Caitlin.
"Yes, looks like you are learning," smiled Iris.
"I wish i could come in here one day and remember it all but until Cisco finds out a way to revserse this, I guess I'm stuck learning all things one at a time," joked Caitlin. "So you are a journalist and part of team Flash."
"Yes, but I don't do all the sciencey and medical stuff like you guys. I'm here as the supporter."
"You don't have to be genius or anything to want to be a hero. Sometimes just being there to ground a hero is more than anyone can ask for," replied Caitlin.
Iris smiled at her and watched Caitlin as she sat there working.
Caitlin turned around and faced Iris. "How do I do this. How do i work here helping the Flash when I posses this abilities that apparently are so dangerous. How can someone trust me so much?"
"As hard as it may sound, the answer is simple. You have done so much good and you have been by Barrys side from the beginning. He trusts you with his life and so do I. What you have doesn't define what you can and will do," said Iris.
"At these times I really wish I could remember. It's hard to not understand the whole thing and only being able to see the small picture."
"Trust me with all that has been happening, sometimes it is ok to forget."

"Hey Allen, I'm sorry I screwed up. I didn't know that you didn't want Caitlin knowing about the whole Killer Frost thing. It slipped my mouth and I didn't know what to say," Juilian said in a rush.
Barry came into his lab and put away his stuff. "Yeah don't worry about it. I really didn't want her to know about this all. I wanted her to get a chance to be normal and have a way out of this life. Maybe if she didn't know then she could survive her fate."
"I know it's hard to see this unfold and not know a way to stop it. But how are you planning on changing her fate. We all know what she is capable of and we also know what Savitar had said," said Julian.
"I know and that pushes me to work harder. I can't let people I love and care for get hurt. Whatever challenges Savitar has for me, I'm willing to fight for them," replied Barry determined to prove this.

"Please tell me there is some good news. Lately all I have been getting is bad news," said Joe rolling his eyes.
"I'm sorry but I don't know how the information I found is going to go. Amanda isn't talking and so far the others haven't actually tried anything," said Caitlin.
"So, I found this little stone. It was so small that it could easily been missed. When I ran it through the data base to identify what it was, I didn't find anything."
"So that stone hasn't been discovered yet?" Asked Joe confused.
"I don't know. But breaking down the properties and minerals of the stone I found it to be foreign... I don't even think this is from planet earth," finished Cisco.
Joe looked baffled as he tried to process what Cisco had just said. "How can that stone not even be from here."
"Seriously Joe, with all that we have seen in the past years , can we truely ask that question," joked Cisco.,
"Now I really want to know what we have come across," said Caitlin.
"Do you think it is something that Savitar might have brought in so he could get Barry off his back?" Asked Joe.
"I don't think so. He wants to make his suffer and pay and what not but setting out a plan to have him loose his memory doesn't look like his plan," answered Cisco.
"Ok who the hell is this Savitar guy?" Jumped in Caitlin. Now completely unaware of what they were talking about.
"That's the million dollar question... Who is Savitar?" Said Cisco.
