Nine

Iris came home and found Barry was already there. He was sitting by the fireplace deep in thought. He didn't even hear come in. She sat down next to him and placed her head on his chest. 

"I know everyone is telling you this and by now it may also have lost its meaning but I do mean it. I have said it before that even though I know what's going to happen and all I can't have you worry over that when it starts to affect your other work," said Iris. 

"It's not. My focus is on both and I will find a way to save you. I'm not losing you."

"So tell me what is bothering you. I have notice that you are keeping something from me."

Barry took in a  deep breath and looked at her. "It's Juilian, I know I didn't trust him but he has done everything to help us. Especially with Caitlin but... Laterly he has been pushing on the idea of having Caitlin use her abilities."

"Isn't that dangerous, everytime she has used them she has gone full Killer mode." 

"That's what I'm worried about. Juilian is right that she maybe one way of saving you but that may also mean that I lose her. I can't bargaining one live for another."

"And I won't want you to do so either."

"So you honestly don't remember anything after you entered the store?" Questioned Cisco. 

"For the last time, I don't. I don't know where all that time went and who that person was. But that does prove that Barry was right. Someone else is the  one who committed the crime. The guy who stole from the jewellery store may be the same person who killed the other guy. Ben may be innocent after all."

"Yeah we can't prove that until we actually find this guy and our only witnesses can't remember him." 

"Is this a metahuman case or not?" Asked H.R.

"Honestly, hard to tell. Not until we have another encounter with him."

Barry arrived the next morning to find the labs empty. He sat down and started going through the footage of tea crime scene. Why couldn't be remember? The scene alarm started beeping. He went to the life feed to find someone entering the scene again. He zoomed out if there. He wasn't going to let them get away again. 

He arrived at the scene and found someone going through the store. They were pulling  some bags out for the loose floor. He stopped when he saw the Flash standing there. 

"You know you and your snoopy friend are getting in the way too much. Is he with you too. Didn't you learn your lesson?" Asked the guy. He had a hoodie on and didn't remove it. 

Barry was confused by this. What was he going on about. "You can't seriously believe that you can get away with this all."

"I have before and I will again. You can stop what you can't remember," yelled the guy. He pulled out a small radio like thing from his pocket and was about to press something when Barry ran and knocked it out of his hand. 

It went flying and sliding to the otherside of the room. This made the guy even angrier. He went again for the device but Flash pulled him. Turning around he kicked him in the leg as  then punched him on the face before running to the device. He turned to face Flash but Flash was too fast for him to even see coming. Flash once again punched him, bringing him to his knees, then pulled the device from his hand and using the police tape from around, tied his hands together.

After a few minutes Joe came running into the building with other officers and saw the scene. Flash gave Joe the guy and whispered, "I have a device that he uses which may be linked to the whole memeory thing. Meet me at the labs."

"We have to do something about this Flash. He beat Nate. He has been on our case since the first day and he is getting on my nerves," yelled Milly. Milly paced the room as she tried to calm herself. 

"He can't prove anything. They don't know what that device does. We will get Nate home soon and Flash is the one that will have to let him free."

"How, Flash isn't the only problem. We also have that CSI guy who is also a pain. It has come to our attention that he doesn't believe that Ben was the murder."

"That's why I told you that killing someone becomes a problem. We avoid that so we don't have to deal with all this mess."

"We had no choice, he attacked us and he had a gun." 

"Don't worry, both the Flash and this Barry will both be out of our way."

"Im sorry but I honestly don't know what this is. it looks like a radio but when I opened it up, I found  a transmitter but there was no signal or anything." 

"Is it active. He was about to use it for some reason."

"Barry, sit still. I know you heal fast but you did get punched and kicked, hard," said Caitlin as she tried to apply cream to where he was kicked. 

Barry turned to Caitlin stopped and held her hand. "Caitlin I'm fine. I'm now used to getting this kind of injuries." 

"I know but this is my job remember. I'm the one who has to worry about you even if though you don't care," she smiled.

"Well, I found something here but don't know for sure. There is a charge and a trigger switch. Maybe I should press it to see..." 

Cisco pressed the switch and before the bang even happen, Barry zoomed and pulled Caitlin out of the room. It was too late to help Cisco. When he came back in the room, he found Cisco on the  floor looking confused. 

"Wh...what happened? Did I blow something?" 

They may not know what the hell is happening but they may have found out how they were getting away wiht the whole robbery. This device was there get out of jail card. And now he had to find out who made them.
