"Caitlin, Barry come in. Hey we have another case. Joe is Joe arriving at the crime scene," said Cisco over their piece. Barry once again came to a holt across from Caitlin on hearing the news. He picked her up and ran to the labs to drop her off. 

"So what do we know about this case?" Asked Caitlin. She took her seat and brought up the news report while Barry ran to the crime scene. 

"All we know is that Admirial Jewelly Stores silent alarm went off and when the first police response arrived, it looked like someone was there to rob the place. The owner is unconscious and was taken to the hospital," filled in H.R.

Barry arrived at the crime scene and found it to be a mess and Joe was taking statements from some people. He came to him and took him to the side. 

"What happened here?" 

"We don't know the full story yet since the owner is still at the hospital and he is unconscious. But from we were able to gather is that someone broke in. A lot of things have been stolen and the safe is also open with million dollars worth of Jewelly is missing."

"Do you think this is linked to the other cases or a random act of crime?" Asked Barry. 

"I honestly  can't agree until we can get a statement from the owner. But you do realise that this can't be linked since the guy that did commit that crime is in our custody."

"I know you are doing your job and so m I. Joe I can't let that innocent man go to prison. If this is linked than I will fight to catch the right criminal and set that man free."

Joe wanted to tell him that he believed that there was something that was fishy and that he also was starting to believe that this was a metahuman vs human case. But looking at Barry and the amount of pressure he was putting on himself, he decided it wasn't the time. He would help in any way possible. 

Barry went to the crime scene and started to collect evidence but his mind was still on the possibility of this being linked to the other cases. He couldn't shake of that feeling.

"Barry, why did you bring me here?" Asked Caitlin as she straightened her dress and hair. Running at fast speed was a hustle. "Wait why are we at the hospital?" 

"The doctors aren't releasing any information on the shop owner and I really want to know how he is doing and need you to give me your medical expertise," smiled Barry. 

Caitlin could never refuse that smile of his and he knew it. Letting out a breath she followed Barry to the room. they came closer to the door to find a police officer outside his room. 

"Wait, is he a suspect or victim?" Questioned Caitlin. 

"Joe said that they are keeping him under protection in case he wakes up and run because he turns out to be the crook or if the actual crook does come and try and kill him before he can rat him out. Ok hang on." 

They zoomed past the officer and into the room. Once inside, Caitlin looked around. No one was there and she went for the report at the end of his bed. 

"Ok, so his blood pressure, pulse and heart rate are normal. They did a blood test / toxic screen and it came back normal yet they still don't know why he isn't waking up. Now they are just monitoring him. Maybe that's why they haven't updated or let  anyone visit. He isn't awake," whispered Caitlin.

"What is happening here. It all feels like it right in front of us yet we are always behind a step," said Barry in frustration. 

"Maybe because you are looking for something where there is nothing to look for. Maybe it is as simple as it looks. You are under so much pressure that you are now looking for a complicated solution to simple problems," said Caitlin. 

Barry looked up at Caitlin. She could see that he was taken aback by this but before he could say anything the store owner woke up. Both startled stepped back. He looked around confused and was about to scream when Caitlin quickly came to his side and placed her hand on his shoulders. 

"My name is Dr Caitlin Snow and it's all ok. I need you to be calm and I will explain everything to you. Can you do that?" 

He nodded and Caitlin took away the breathing mask. She turned down the monitor alarms so no doctors or nurses would come running in. 

"Can you tell us what happened?" Asked Barry in a calm voice.

"I... I... Don't.... Remember. What I do remember is not very clear. I remember hearing the news something about a prison transport truck being hit but the Flash helped recollect the criminals. I was opening the store then and now I'm in hospital," answered the owner. 

Caitlin and Barry could see that he was confused and unaware of the fact what had happened. Pulling him to the side, Caitlin whispered, "that truck incident happened 2 days ago. How can that be even possible?"

This all didn't make sense but in Barry's head things were already turning and a possible solution may be right in front of them. Maybe he had been right all along. Maybe this had everything to do with metahumans.
