Believing in fairytales means that happy endings are meant to be real.

Having a prince who acts as your knight in shining armor, a prince who will do everything to make you happy, a prince who will never make you cry, that is what every girl is dreaming to have.

Too good to be true. Too perfect to happen.

Because life isn't like a fairytale where your story starts in a magical beginning then ends in a happily ever after.

Life shouldn't be compared to fairytales where in Cinderella found her prince, Jasmine met Alladin, when the prince climbed to a tower to save Rapunzel and where Princess Bell was able to tame a beast, it all happened because of their so called love.

Sadly, I am not Cinderella.

Nor Rapunzel.

Nor Jasmine.

Neither one of them.

Because fairytales don't exist in reality.

My life is far different from their so called fairytales I used to believe.

I stared to a woman standing in front of me. Her long black her swayed as her brush runs through it. Her eyes are unreadable as she stared back at me. The light coming from outside reached her fair skin. Her cheekbones was perfectly shaped with her nose. Her face is delicate yet there's something strange I can see through her eyes.

I smiled at the girl infront of the mirror but her smile didn't reach her eyes. 'Come on, Hershey. You can do it.' Inayos ko ang dress na suot ko.

"Mom?" Nabaling ang atensyon ko sa may pintuan. Kunot-noo syang nakatingin sa akin habang nakadungaw doon. "Are you done?"

"Yes.

"I've been waiting for fifteen minutes, mom. Tss." Nakanguso nyang sabi at saka nagcross arms.

"Oh come on Precian, it's just fifteen minutes."

"Whatever." He said and rolled his eyes.

"I'm not a baby, mom. Tss." Supladong nyang sabi.

"Oh come on Precian! You're only five years old." "Let's go. Nasaan na ba si tito Flaire mo?" Tanong ko.

"He's waiting outside, mom."

He smiled at me.

"Let's go?" Aniya. Marahan akong tumango at saka ngumiti.
