Geek woke up and got ready for school again. It seemed so natural for some reason, like he had been doing this for weeks when it had only been days. It had been fours days since he first arrived in this world. Many questions still floated in the air. Geek pushed them aside for now. No time like the present, so better make the best of it. Like the previous morning, everyone woke up, ate breakfast, stepped outside, met up with Volt, and went to school. Geek was already starting to settle into life here. It was odd. Geek had to keep reminding himself that this wasn't his normal life. He had a life in the human world. He had to get back, but everyday he spent here, the harder and harder it got.

Once school began, it was like nobody was new or different. Class continued as normal. Apparently, the class was in the middle of discussing Mystery Dungeons. Strange and mysterious Dungeons that change randomly every time someone enters them. The also get random items every time someone enters them as well. Geek was actually interested in the topic. Suddenly, almost like someone else lived inside of him, he started developing a sense of adventure. He felt like he wanted to explore these strange places and find all the mysteries and treasures that lay within them. When Geek looked over at Volt, he could see that same look in his own eyes.

When recess rolled around, Geek noticed Timburr motioning him over to the ring. Everyone else started gathering around it.

"Don't worry Geek. If you can take down Onix, then Timburr won't be a problem," Skitty said as he walked past her and into the ring.

"Alright punk. I told you yesterday that if you step out of line, I'll put you back in line. Get ready, cause here I come!" Timburr shouted as he charged forward.

Geek couldn't move fast enough. He took the full Tackle attack and flew into the nets. Getting back up, Geek looked right at Timburr as a whole different person took over. Geek began charging his Aura Sphere attack, then let it loose into Timburr, who went flying out of the arena. Timburr jumped back into the ring and threw his log at Geek. Geek, suddenly faster and stronger than before, ducked under the log and then sent a massive bolt of lightning ripping down to strike Timburr. He fell over, steam coming off of him, passed out and in pain. The school nurse, Audino, came in and took Timburr to the Nurse's Office. Everyone was completely dumbfounded.

They knew Geek would win. They knew Timburr didn't stand a chance. But with these two moves, Geek had proven that he was much more powerful than any of them had predicted. All except Skitty. Skitty just smiled and kept saying I told you to everyone. It was a total smack down. After school, Timburr apologized for being such a jerk, although Geek could tell he was still holding a grudge. Volt and Skitty both talked about the recess events the whole way back. Geek was more confused than happy. When he was fighting, it was like someone else took over. That adventurous, and very courageous side of him took over. It was awesome. Geek now had something he wanted to do more than enjoy this life while he could. He wanted to explore.

On their way home, Geek explained how he felt to Volt and Skitty. Skitty was a little unsure about it, despite knowing how strong Geek was. Volt, on the other hand, agreed at every turn to explore with Geek. They resolved that the next day, they would go on their first expedition into a nearby Dungeon called the Fluttering Fields. Skitty said that she was gonna stay back. She understood their sense of adventure, and she wouldn't get in their way. After another day of fun and play later and everyone went to bed and enjoyed a good night's sleep. Geek and Volt would need it, because things were about to get pretty crazy for them.
