Boss Battle: Gengar and Haunters

Geek jumped over a massive dark orb that flew at him. He knew he was invulnerable to their energy absorption, but he didn't want to lose all his energy and drop in the middle of this fight. Greninja, Marowak, and Gallade were doing a lot better than before against the Haunter in the back. Geek, Volt, and Wave all fought against Gengar. After landing, Geek turned around and summoned a powerful thunderbolt which slammed into Gengar, sending him toppling back a few steps. Before He fully recovered, Volt slammed an Iron Tail into him, sending him staggering backwards, very open to the Surf attack Wave used, tripping Gengar and sending him crashing into the ground.

"Teamwork!" Wave shouted as Gengar suddenly appeared and grabbed Wave, chucking him into the floor.

Volt jumped past Wave and once again slammed an Iron Tail into Gengar. This time though, Gengar recovered quicker and was able to send a Shadow Ball into him, sending him flying back on top of Wave. Geek stood alone, with the other three members fighting the last two Haunter. Geek dashed forward, dodging a Shadow Ball and evading a Vital Throw from Gengar. Quickly counter attacking, Geek summoned another Thunder Bolt while Gengar was distracted. Slamming into him, the Thunder Bolt sent Gengar flying into Gallade, who quickly used an Ice Punch to knock him back. With one Haunter left, Greninja and Marowak came to help out Geek.

Volt got back up, and helped Gallade finish up with the Haunter. Wave started using multiple healing moves for the team, giving everyone new strength and the power to fight on. Gengar was up against a one to six battle. He knew he wasn't gonna win. Still, Gengar threw himself forward, getting slapped back by a Bonemerang, then getting smashed by an Iron Tail. A quick Zen Headbutt sent him back, then another Surf knocked him down again. Multiple Water Shurikens flew into him, but when they stopped, there wasn't another attack. Gengar stood up, pain all over his body, and saw everyone standing behind Geek, who had a purple glow coming from his mouth and chest. Finally, Geek opened his mouth and fired a massive Dragon Pulse into him, utterly destroying Gengar by slamming into him the wall. The entire room was a mess.

"Your boss's plans are gonna have to make room for us," Gallade said, "better yet, his plans are gonna have to go in the garbage. Just like you."

Gengar stood up, weak and beaten, but then started laughing. He looked at the group with red eyes and that huge, evil smile.

"You think you've won just by beating me?" Gengar queried, "if anything, you've only upset my master, and now he's coming here to deal with you six, personally."

Just as Gengar finished his sentence, the whole room began growing darker, and a reddish-black portal opened above them. Floating down from within the portal was a large figure, almost twice the size of a Charizard. Suddenly exploding with dark energy, the figure was a massive orb of dark liquids. It slowly began taking form, and shaping itself into a more familiar figure. It now looked like a big, solid black with red eyes Mewtwo. It looked as though it was staring right through the group's souls.

"You are the ones who stand in my way?" The figure said, his voice very disfigured and disturbing.

"Yes master, these are the ones who have been delaying the master plan," Gengar said from behind him.

"Ahhhh, I can see why. Why even you could not defeat them. These are the 'heroes' who had been chosen to stop me," The Figure said.

"So, what shall you do with them sir?" Gengar asked, almost eagerly awaiting the answer.

"I shall explain myself. They do not know what is really going on here," The Figure replied, turning his head to Geek and Volt.

"I am Wraith. I am the Bringer of Destruction. I am here for one reason, and one reason only. To absorb the life from everything here, and then destroy this planet. You were supposedly sent here to save this world from me, but that is only a dream of those who stand in front of me. You think yourselves as heroes? You think you can save this world with your own power and those scarves? Ha. I laugh at your pitiful dreams. Now watch as I crush those dreams into a million pieces right before your eyes!"

Wraith charged up a massive Dark Orb. Geek and Volt were ready to deflect it with their scarves, but when the scarves didn't glow, Geek knew something was wrong. If Wraith really was the true mastermind behind all of this, his power would be much greater than his pawns. They were screwed. The Dark Orb came flying forward, slamming into Geek and Volt, then flying past them and hitting the rest of the group. Everyone else fell immediately fell, empty of energy, and slowly falling asleep. Large, glowing orbs flew out of their bodies and floated past Geek and Volt, going into Wraith. The energy of his enemies. Geek and Volt collapsed to their knees, then fell to the ground, their energy slowly draining away. Geek could do nothing but watch as an orb left his and Volt's bodies, then floated into Wraith. He smiled.

"You should've stayed in Petal Town with your friends," Wraith said.

Geek's eyes slowly closed, and darkness encased him. Sleep, took over.
