Gengar charged forward along with all the other Pokemon. Tsunami, Wave Lucario, and Victini all began fighting the mind controlled Pokemon as Geek and Volt took on Gengar. With a swift Iron Tail, Volt sent Gengar a few feet back while Geek used a thunder bolt to catch Gengar off balance. Gengar recovered quickly, then suddenly exploded with a dark aura. It was so strong, Geek didn't need his Aura Vision to see it. Gengar was now made of pure darkness, hatred, and all things evil. Volt tried using a Grass Knot to trip him up, but it didn't work. Gengar roared unnaturally, then sent two shadow like figures towards Geek and Volt. Both shadows slammed into Geek and Volt, sending them flying backwards. Volt stuck his tail in the ground, stopping his backwards flight, and then he grabbed Geek's hand and launched him forward. Rushing right behind him, Volt charged up an Electro ball and launched it forward, just as Geek hit it with a Thunderbolt, giving it added power.

The massive orb of electricity slammed into Gengar, sending shockwaves and paralysis all across his body. The aura grew larger with the hit, and Gengar recovered from his paralysis, but the damage was still there. Gengar launched two more shadows forward, but Geek and Volt helped each other to jump over each one, then land and attack again. Geek really only had two moves he could use, thunder bolt and Dragon Pulse, but Dragon Pulse was a one use kinda move. Most other Pokemon could use Dragon Pulse repeatedly, but Geek lost his breath and energy every time he used it. Geek and Volt used a synchronized Electro Ball and Thunderbolt attack again, slamming into Gengar again. Gengar didn't recover as quick, but his aura flared to life again.

As Geek and Volt kept dodging and attacking, Lucario, Victini, Wave, and Tsunami finished up with the other controlled Pokemon. Then, they charged in and quickly helped Geek and Volt wrap up with Gengar. A quick Stone Edge sent Gengar flying, then a Searing Shot slammed him further. A quick Razor Shell did some numbers on him while a Surf attack carried him straight into the ground. Then, Volt launched an Electro Ball into Gengar, with a quick and efficient Dragon Pulse coming in to wrap it all up.

After all of that, Gengar simply vanished into another portal. The other controlled Pokemon all slowly backed off or ran away to the surrounding area, disappearing into the horizon. The group stayed the night outside the tower, resting up and eating some food. The next morning, they all joined together and entered the tower together, ready for whatever lay ahead.
