Pokémon Mystery Dungeon - Explorers

Day 40

The day was long, hard, and especially dangerous. Geek and Volt hadn't really realized it until now, but seemingly everyone who didn't want to fall asleep permanently were mind controlled. That meant pretty much the entire world was now mind controlled. That was a lot of Pokemon to deal with, especially for a group as small as theirs. Travelling through the Outskirt Forest was difficult, as the Haunter returned and fought them again, eventually losing however. Later, they travelled to a place called Foggy Lakes Path. That was a fun time. After clearing through there, the group arrived at Rocky Hills Territory. Another fun and happy time through that place of horrors.

Eventually however, through all the struggles and hardships they faced, they finally reached the Tower of Legends. It was a lot taller than Geek thought it would be. It went way past the clouds from what Geek could see on the ground. As they walked, Geek saw the entrance to the massive building up ahead. They were almost there.

"Come on guys!" Geek shouted as they dashed for the entrance.

"We're almost there!" Volt shouted.

Suddenly, a red and black portal opened up in front of the entrance and Gengar emerged from it, red eyes, grin and all. Everyone stopped suddenly, looking at the new opponent with eyes of rage, determination, courage, and hope.

"You have been some very persistent and annoying pebbles in our shoes you know that?" Gengar said with that same creepy tone of fabricated politeness.

"Stuff it Gengar! You won't stop us from saving our world!" Wave shouted.

"Heh, that's what you think," Gengar snickered as a massive group of Shadow Pokemon emerged from the surrounding area. 

One of them was Onix.

"Guys, this might be a little difficult," Victini said.

"You don't say? I thought this was gonna be like a walk in the park!" Tsunami sarcastically remarked.

"No need to be fighting amongst ourselves, especially not now," Lucario said, raising his fists and preparing to fight.

"Let's do this Gengar! You want a Round 2!? Come and get it!" Geek and Volt shouted in unison.

"I'll make sure you two go back to where you came from," Gengar said calmly, then raised his head with a more maniacal grin, "I'LL SEND YOU RIGHT BACK TO THE VOID!"
