Day 7 Night Time

Geek didn't get back until late in the night. Everyone was already asleep in the house. Apparently everyone decided to sleep at the Delcatty's house. Volt was asleep in a bed, Cubone just laid on the ground, face down to the ground, and Eevee slept next to Skitty, who was in her own bed in her room. Charmander sat in the corner, tail burning bright, drawing something. Geek walked over and plopped down next to Charmander, who was working so furiously, he hadn't noticed the new arrival. Geek sat there, watching Charmander for a moment, and then noticed what he was drawing. It was Geek, fighting Timburr on that day in the arena. There were other pictures, other comics that Charmander was making. Not all of them were about Geek. Some of them were just comedy skits, and others were interesting little story bits.

Finally, Geek cleared his throat and stuck his hand over Charmander's mouth as he let out an embarrassing yelp. Geek's hand muffled it enough for just them to hear it at least. Geek removed his hand and looked at him.

"Thank you," Charmander said with a sigh.

"No problem," Geek replied.

"I should be in bed right now to be honest," Charmander said as he yawned.

"Yeah, same," Geek said.

"Well, I guess I'm gonna go. See ya in the morning," Charmander said as he laid down and almost immediately fell asleep.

Geek got up and walked over to Volt. He stood next to him for a second, then scooted him over a bit and laid down next to him. It was relaxing and fun to sleep next to Volt. This was their first sleepover after all. Hopefully he wouldn't get swamped in the morning by everyone. Geek couldn't think of anything but Skitty. His mind kept wandering over to her. Was she going to be all right? Then something else started nagging at him. How many other orbs were in the world? How come Onix didn't use the energy drain attack on him? What was up with the weird scarf thing? Who was that voice that kept echoing in his mind? So many questions, so little answers. Slowly, Geek drifted off into his dreams, entering a very, very deep sleep.
