The Darkness Inside

Ch:4

The music was so loud when we pulled up to the club. I looked at the sign that said "Karma". I asked "how old do you have to be to get into this club"? Ricky said "21". I said "but I'm only 18". Ricky said "and we are only 20, it's called fake ID's". He tossed me one and said "I even made you one". I smiled and said "thanks".

We got out of the car and walked to the bouncer. The boys showed the guy their cards and he let them in. Ricky stood back and waited for me. I showed the guy my card and he said "you look younger than 21 cutie". I said "I promise you that I'm 21". He didnt believe me so he said "sorry sweetheard, but I can let you in".

Ricky said "cmon man, she's 21, her ID even says so". The bouncer said "I can tell just my looking at her, she is not 21". I looked at Ricky and said "go into the club, I'll just hang out somewhere else". He asked "are you sure"? I smiled and said "give me your cell number. He put his number into my phone and he went into the club.

As soon as he walked in I texted him "stand by the bathroom windows, I'm sneaking in". He texted back and said "ok, I'm at the windows". I ran around to the side of the building and located the window. It was high so I used my inner wolf to help me jump up. I grabbed onto the window and knocked on it. Ricky opened it and grabbed my hands. He pulled me in caught me in his arms.

I said "thanks" then I walked over to the dance floor. I looked around and saw T.J. He looked at me then motioned for me to go over to him. I walked over and we started to dance. Ricky ran over and danced beside me. A song called "Grind on me" came on so all the guys in the club found girls to dance with. I said "I'm gonna skip out on this song".

Ricky said "c'mon just dance with us". T.J. found a girl and they started to dance. Ricky said "please, you cant leave me alone". I was about to walk back over to him, but the darkness took over and I walked away.

I ran into the bathroom and ran over to the mirror. My eyes were completely black, no pupil or color, just blackness. My banshee screamed inside of my head which snapped me out of the darkness. My wolf whimpered and asked "what the hell just happened to you"? I quietly said "I dont know, I blacked out".

The music got louder so I walked back into the main room. I walked over to Ricky who was sitting at an empty table. I leaned towards his ear and I said "come on, lets dance". He smiled and grabbed my hand. He lead me to the dancefloor and we started to dance. A girl came over and pushed me away from him. She started dancing up on him so I left the dance floor.

I sat at the empty table that Ricky was just at. T.J. was still dancing with the same girl from before. I used my wolf hearing to listen in on their conversation. T.J. was asking her is she would come back to the apartment. She agreed and kissed him quickly.

T.J. looked my way then he grabbed onto the girls hand. He walked over to us and he asked me "do you mind if we leave"? I got up out of the seat and said "no we can go". T.J. yelled for Ricky to come over to where we were. Ricky quickly made his way over to us and asked "what"? I said "T.J. wants to leave". Ricky looked over at him and said "but I didnt even get a drink yet".

T.J. said "well you should have gotten one sooner. We walked out and I stopped at the door. Ricky looked back and remembered that I snuck in. He talked to the bouncer long enought for me to sneak out. Ricky said good bye to the bouncer and we all walked to T.J.'s car. He made Ricky get in the back with me because the girl he picked up was sitting in the front with him.

Ricky handed T.J. the GSP and put in our apartment address. As we drove home the girl kept kissing him so I looked over at Ricky. He was staring out the window with his hands clenched into fists. I tapped him and he jumped. He looked over and quietly asked "what"? I asked "are you ok Ricky"? He said "dont worry about it".

We pulled up to the apartment and we all got out. I said "I'll meet you guys in a bit". They walked up to the apartments while I walked down the street. I seen a alcohol store so I wlaked around to the back. It was pitch black out behind the store so I made my eyes glow bright yellow so I could see. There was a truck unloading boxes of alcohol so I ran up to the truck and waited. The guy walked into the store with a box so I grabbed a box that was laying in there.

I held onto the box tightly as I ran back to the apartment. I opened the front door and walked upstaires. I got to our floor and seen Ricky sitting against the door in the hallway. I got out my keys and I asked " why are you sitting out here"? Ricky said "well our room is a one room apartment and he took a girl in there. He kicked me out for the night".

I walked up to my apartment door and turned the key. The door opened and I said "cmon, you can stay in my room for the night". He smiled and got up. He asked "whats in the box"? I said "you'll find out".

Ricky shut my door and we walked over to the bed. I set the box down and got out my wolf claws. While he wasnt looking I cut off the tape with my claws. I made them go away when he looked up. I said "open the box". He opened the box and there were tiny bottles of different types of alcohol. He asked "how in the world did you get these"? I smiled and said "it's a secret".

I leaned back and said "well I felt bad that you didnt get anything to drink at the club, so I got you these". He asked "there are all for me"? I smiled and said "yeah, I dont want any". He grabbed one of the tiny bottled and opened it. He took a small drink and laid down next to me. He turned towards me and said "thanks". I said "dont thank me". He put his hand over mine and said "but I want to".
