The Darkness Inside

Ch:35

My heart pounded as I walked further and further down the long alley. Their scents kept getting stronger. I heard screams then something was running towards me. Becky and Jamie screamed "SHELBY RUN"! I asked "whats wrong"? Becky said "there is a huge dog back there and it bit me and Jamie". I said "let me see". They stuck out their hands and they had huge bite marks on their arms.

They were from a werewolf. They were infected now. Soon they would become wolves too. I didnt say anything to them just yet. I said "c'mon, lets go into the club, we will be safe in there". I grabbed their hands and I lead them into the line.

Once we got to the door the bouncer said "you ladies look nice this evening". As I walked in he whispered "especially you". He slapped my butt as I walked in. I said "pervert" then I kept walking inside. Becky and Jamie said "cmon lets go dance". We made our way to the dance floor then we started to dance together.

They played songs with just beats, no words, but it was awesome. There were neon lights everywhere. People had glow paint on their bodies. I asked a girl who had some on her arm "where did you get that"? She said "there is a booth by the bathrooms, they paint you back there". I said "thanks". She said "no problem" then she went back to dancing with her friends.

I said "let's go get painted"! Jamie and Becky followed me back to where the painting booths were at. 3 cute guys were working at the table. I asked one of them "can you paint some on my face and arms"? He said "for a beautiful girl like you, definatly". I smiled then I closed my eyes as he painted my face with bright colors.

Jamie got her face painted while Becky got her arms painted. For me it was go big or go home. The guy said "you can open your eyes now"! He said "let me see your arms". I handed him my arms then he started to do designs all over my arms. I said "you're really good at this". He said "thanks, I only do the best on the prettiest girls here". He smiled at me then he asked "you want to dance"?

I said "I came here with my friends, it's suppost to be a girl's night out, and plus, I have a boyfriend". He said "thats too bad, and he's a very lucky guy, I hope he knows that". I said "he does, he tells me that everyday". I said "you can dance with us if you want, but I just wanted you to know that I am taken". He said "ok, we'll be over in a few minutes".

I stepped back and I waited until the guys were done with Jamie and Becky. Once they finished they guy that painted me said "see you in a few minutes". I waved then I disappeared into the crowd of people with Jamie and Becky. We got a spot  on the dance floor then we started to dance again. We were all glowing.

After a few songs the guys came over. They started to dance by us then the guy that painted me said "hey again"! I said "hey"! He said "I dont think I caught your name". I said "it's Shelby". He said "cool, I'm Ethen, and that idiot right there is my twin brother Aiden". I said hello to them then Ethan said "and that guy over there is our best friend Toby". I said hello to them. Jamie started to dance with Aiden and Becky started to dance with Toby.

That left me with Ethan. It was werid because I had a boyfriend, but I wasnt gonna ever cheat on him. I loved Chris and only Chris. This was just some guy to dance with and nothing more. A good song came on and everybody started to grind up on eachother. Ethan grabbed onto my hips so I tried to dance my way away from him.

I walked over to Jamie and Becky. I said "bathroom, now". Jamie and Becky said to the guys "we'll be right back, dont go anywhere". We walked to the bathroom then we went inside. I said "that Ethan guy is trying to hit on me. I already told him that I have a boyfriend, but he wont stop. And he wont stop grinding on me".

Becky said "everybody is gringing, so dont take it to personally". Jamie said "just dance by me, I'll protect you". I said "I didnt want to interupt you and Aiden". She said "it's all fun, just stay by me". I said "ok" then we walked out of the bathroom. The guys were standing outside by the booth. Once they seen us they walked back over to us.
