The Darkness Inside

Ch:46

Howls filled the air. Chris screamed "SHELBY, HE'S HERE". My heart pounded super fast. I never ran as fast as I did now. Fear spread through my body, but courage quickly took over. In the distance I seen them all fighting in the middle of the woods.

Chris and Reedus were fighting each other. When Reedus threw Chris to the ground my heart sank. I snarled as I plowed right into him. We both tumbled and summer salted a good10 feet before we came to a stop.

I quickly got up and I pinned him to the ground. I snarled in his face then I said "this is where you finally die". He kicked me and I flew back. I smacked hard into a tree. The tree cracked then it fell down. I ran back over to Reedus and I tackled him again.

My banshee screamed in his face. He shook then whimpered. I was about to slash his throat, but an arrow went through my arm. I looked over to where the arrow came from. Elisha was standing there. She had tears in her eyes.

She said "enough Reedus, haven't you caused enough problems. Just come home". As I held onto my arm in pain I asked "what do you mean come home"? Elisha looked down in disappointment. She said "he's my brother". I was taken back by this. It didn't make any sense.

I said "I don't get it, I'm so confused". She walked over and she stood in between us. Everybody else stopped fighting. We all stood there in our human forms. She said "sadly he is my brother. I never moved. I finally joined a normal school".

Reedus threw his arm around her then he said "my baby sis will kill you if you touch me". I felt so hurt and betrayed. I said "so that's how he knew so much stuff, you have been telling him everything". Tears rolled down her face.

She said "Im sorry Shelby". I said "so all this time you pretended to be my friend, but really you were a rat for Reedus". She said "no we were truly best friends and we still are". I shook my head then I said "no, your not my best friend. You put my pack in danger and you lied to me".

My are started to burn which made my wolf yelp. I pulled the arrow out then I snapped it in half like a toothpick. I threw the arrow to the ground, but I held the arrowhead in my hand. I said "I'm really disappointed in you Elisha, and I'm sorry I have to do this".

She asked "what do..."? Before she could continue I leaped forward and I put the arrowhead into Reedus's throat. Reedus fell to the ground. She screamed "NO"! The fight was back on. Everyone  shifted back into their pissed off wolf.

Elisha picked up her bow and arrow. She aimed it at me, but I grabbed the bow from her hands. I snapped it in half then I threw it about 10 feet away. She put her hands out in front of her as she said "please don't hurt me".

Before I knew it she pulled out a knife. She took a swing with it. She cut my arm. It was a descent sized gash. She took another swing, but I grabbed her wrist. I twisted it causing her to immediately drop the knife. 

I threw her to the ground then I said "I'm sorry, but I cant trust you anymore". I bit down on her neck then I ripped her throat out. I at least wanted her to die a quick death. Reedus grabbed onto my ankle and he pulled me down.

He reached into Elisha's pocket. He pulled out a gun. I hit him causing him to drop it. I got out of his grasp them I ran over to Chris. Reedus grabbed the gun then he stood up. He aimed it at Chris then he pulled the trigger.

This was where I needed to live up to my alpha status. I pushed Chris out of the way and I took the bullet. It went through my shoulder. It stung like a bitch. It just pissed me off. I stood tall and I walked towards Reedus as he continued to shoot me.

I wasn't going to die until he was dead. He missed all of my major organs so I was going to be ok. I  finally reached him. I placed my hands on his cheeks then I said in a sarcastic voice "I love you baby. He said "I love yo...". Before he finished I snapped his neck.

To make sure that he was dead I ripped his head completely off. Once his headless body fell to the ground his pack whimpered and ran away. Chris got up off of the floor then he smiled at me. He knew that I would die for him.

As Chris walked over my banshee screamed "PUSH CHRIS OR HE'S GONNA DIE" Everything seemed to slow down. I looked down and I seen another trip wire. I followed the trip wire with my eyes. I freaked then everything sped up again.
