Ch:15

Chris asked me "what were you gonna say when we were about to play Dance Revolution"? I choked up and I said "nothing". He said "c'mon you can tell me, your trust me right"? I said "I trust you with my life". He said "so then tell me".'My eyes filled with tears and I said "well I was gonna say that I used to play Dance Revolution with my brother when we were kids".

Tears rolled down my face and he asked "what wrong sweetie"? He brushed his thumb across my cheeks to wipe away the tears. I said "My brother died about a week ago". More tears came out and I broke down. Chris scooted as close as he could get to me then he wrapped his arms around me. I cried into his shoulder and he said "Shelby, I'm so sorry I asked, I feel like an asshole now". I said "it's ok, it wasnt your fault, you didnt know".

Chris wiped my tears away and he asked "are your parents ok"? I said "ummm...my parents are dead too". He put his hand over his eyes as he said "shit, I'm so stupid, I'm sorry, just ignor me". I said "it's ok, you didnt know".

I said "thats the reason I moved here. My parents dies when I was young so my brother took care of us ever since. But a week ago he got attacked by something, and I found him. He died in my arms, but I am glad that him and my parents are together now".

Chris asked "How can you keep going on"? I said "well to be honest...you put a smile on my face and you make me want to wake up alive everyday". He smiled and said "well if you ever need anything dont hesitate to tell me". I said "thanks babe". He kissed my forehead and hugged me tightly. I wrapped my arms around his waist and I nuzzled my head on his shoulder.

He rubbed my head and I said I love you Chris". He smied and said "I love you too Shelby". He wiped away the rest of the tears on my cheek then he kissed my cheek. I kissed his neck then I closed my eyes. He was puttting me to sleep again because he was rubbing my head.

I slowly fell asleep in his arms. I could feel him get up with me still in his arms. He laid me down on the bed then He laid down beside me. He pulled the covers onto us and I snuggles against him. I put my head on his chest again and I wrapped my arm around his stomach. He put an arm under me again and then kept stroking through my hair with his free hand.

It felt so good. He could put me to sleep in a few seconds any time he did this to me. I fell into a peaceful sleep and I felt relaxed. I wish I could feel this way all the time. My banshee said "your brother wants to talk to you". I asked "what do you mean"? She said "I can communicate with the dead remember, and he wants to speak to you". I said "then let me talk to him"!

She put me into a dream and I seen my brother standing a few feet infront of me. I ran over to him and I gave him a big hug. He said "I dont have a lot of time so I will make it quick. I just want you to know that I miss you and that I will always love you Shelby. I will always be with you even if you cant see me.Chris is a good guy, weird for wearing make-up, but he is the type of guy I want to see you with. He respects you. he loves you, and he will do anyhting to make you happy". He kissed me and I said "I love you Brad". He said "I love you too" then he faded away.

I couldnt believe that I just talked to him. I didnt even care that it was only for like 3 minues, just being able to talk to his is good enough for me. After the dream was over I thanked my banshee for letting me speak to my brother. She said "your welcome, now get some real sleep". I let everything clear out of my mind. I relaxed my body again and I was out like a light again.

MIDNIGHT:

I woke up because I couldnt sleep anymore. I quietly and carefully crawled out from Chris's grasp and I got out of bed. I walked over to the window and I pulled back the curtains. I looked at the stars and I thought about my parents and my brother. Then I thought about Reedus and Dustin. If I would have never met Ricky and T.J. I might not be here right now.

I'm glad that they got seated next to me on the plane. But if I never met them I could still be all alone with no one to love me. I felt tears welling in my eyes so I rubbed my eyes to stop the tears from coming. Chris moved around in bed and when he felt that I wasnt in bed he sat up and looked at me. He asked "are you ok sweetie"? I said "just couldnt sleep".

I stayed at the window still looking out at the sky. Chris got up and walked over to me. He hugged me from behind and kissed my cheek. He wrapped his hands around my waist and he walked up backwards. His legs hit the bed so He picked me up. He held me in a bridal scoop then he gently laid me back down on the bed.

He laid down beside me and pulled the covers over us. I laid my head on his chest again and I closed my eyes. He said "just take a deep breath and relax, I will have you sleeping in 5 minutes". I smiled and said "thanks". He said "anytime honey". He rubbed his fingers through my hair and it felt good. I closed my eyes and I took a deep breath like he told me to. In a few seconds I was out like a light.

9 IN THE MORNING:

Chris kissed my lips and I woke up. I looked into his eyes and I said"good morning cutie". He smiled and said "good morning beautiful". He asked me "are you ok"? I said "yeah, I just thought about it a lot last ngiht, thats why I was standing by the window". He said "I'm really sorry for asking about it, I shouldnt have asked". I cupped him cheek in my hand. I said "you didnt know, it's not your fault".

I leaned towards him and I kissed him. I grabbed his hand and I intertwined our fingers together. He moved his lips from mine and he kissed my neck. Then he kissed my cheek. I put my hands into his hair and I said "your hair is a mess". He smiled and said "I know, I need to brush it".

I got up and ran into the bathroom. I brought back a hair brush and I threw it to him. He caught it and started to brush his hair. He made faces every time he hit a knot in his hair. At one point the brush got stuck in his hair. I said "let me help you".

I got behind him and Iuntangled the brush from his hair. I started to brush through the knots but I was extra gentle. He said "I never had a girl brush my hair before". I smiled and said "well I'm so honored". He smiled and said "thanks". I said "anytime".

After his hair was smooth and silky He took the brush from me and got behind me. He grabbed my hair and started to brush through it. He said "there is so much stuff I could do with your hair". I smiled and asked "like what"? He said "there are so many ways that I could style your hair, I love how long it is".

He set the brush down and ran his hands through it to make sure that he got all of the knots out. He did then he grabbed my hair and put it up. I handed him a gum band and he did my hair. He put it up into a ponytail the he said "it looks awesome put up, especially since your hair is 2 different colors"! I leaned against him and I said "thanks babe". He said "any day" then he leaned over and kissed my forehead.

I said "it sucks that we are leaving". He said "it sucks that it rained the whole day". I said "well that gave us time to spent together". He said "yes, and I am unbelievably lucky for that". I smiled and wrapped his arms around my waist. He squeezed me then he got up. I was still in his arms and he wouldnt let go of me. I asked 'what are you doing"? He laid me down on the bed then kissed me.

Chris let go of me then he said "you stay here, I'm gonna go take a shower". I said "lucky". He said "well you can get in after me". I said "dont drownd". He laughed and said "I wont, but if I drop the soap lets hope nobody appears in the shower with me". We both busted out laughing and he said "I'm just kidding". He walked into the bathroom and shut the door behind him. I laid on the bed and I asked myself "how did I get so lucky to find a guy like Chris"?

My wolf said "he is such a nice guy and he truely loves you". I smiled and said "he might be the one". My wolf said "I'm ok with that, but you are driving Reedus crazy because you are kissing other guys". I smiled devilishly and said 'let him".
