The Darkness Inside

Ch:7

I looked at Mikayla and she eyes were glowing bright green. She smiled and said "Reedus will be pleased"! I asked "what did you just say"? She smiled and said "Reedus sent over 300 wolves to come and find you". I laughed and said "just go away if you dont want to get hurt".

She got her wolf claws out and howled. She said in her wolf voice "I found her Reedus". I tackled her and snarled. My eyes glowing red at this point. I said "say one more word and your dead". She smiled and said "he's on his way".

Blackness filled my eyes and my demon took over. I picked her up by her throat and pushed her against the wall. She whimpered and said "please dont kill me". I devilishly smiled and said "too late". I bared my wolf fangs and sank them into her neck.

My demon drank her blood while I was trapped. My wolf said "get back in control before he kills her". I tried with all my might to take back my body. My banshee started to yell and scream at the demon. He backed off just enough for me to take back control of my body.

I made my fangs go away and my eyes turned back to yellow. She was barely alive, but I took control. I put my claws into her wound and I tried to heal her. Her wound slowly closed and she stopped bleeding. I asked "are you ok"? In a hushed voice she said "well aside from almost dying,yes".

I said "tell Reedus that I'm not here, that it was a mistake". She said "it's too late, he's already on his way". In my alpha voice I said "tell him that it was a mistake, or I will kill you". She said "you dont understand, he is almost here, if I tell him I was lying he will kill me". I said "well either way, you tell him to go away, or I kill you now".

Her wolf whimpered and told her "just tell him to go away". I said "after you tell him that it was a mistake, run". We heard a howl in the distance, about 10 miles away. It was Reedus. I said "tell him NOW"! She howled and said "she's not here anymore". Reedus howled back and said "I can smell her, she is here".

I said "run, now". I let her go and she ran out of the building. As she ran she howled saying "thank you". I paced back and forth wondering what I was going to do.I thought for a second and said to myself "I need an extreme make-over".

I quickly walked over to the guys apartment and knocked on the front door. Ricky answered the door and looked down at the ground when he saw that it was me. I asked "can you take me somewhere so I can get a make-over"? He said "sure, let me grab the keys".

Ricky grabbed the car keys off of the dresser and we walked downstairs to the first floor. When we got into the lobby Reedus was standing there. I said "oh shit". I got on the other side of Ricky and put his arm around me. Ricky asked "what are you doing"? I said "I'm cold" thinking up a quick lie. He pulled me closer to him which masked up my scent a bit.

We walked outside and I got into the car quickly. He got in the driver seat and I said "ok, lets go". He reved up the engine and said "lets explore the city while we're at it"! I smiled and said "but make-over first". He smiled and repeated "yes, make-over first".

He pulled out of the apartment parking lot and went onto the street. After about 5 minutes of driving we hit the city. We both looked around for a salon, but most of the buildings were fast food joints. Ricky pointed to the right and said "theres a salon thing over there". I said "pull in". We pulled in and turned off the car.

We got out and walked into the salon. A lady smiled and asked "how may I help you dear"? I smiled and said "I want a complete make-over". She smiled and asked "any particular kind"? I thought and my demon took over. I kept my normal eyes, but the demon took over my speaking. He said "dark, I want a dark look".

The lady asked "what color do you want your hair to be"? The demon said "half red, half black, like Ash from the band New Years Day". The lady said "oh, ok, I know who she is, I actually dies her hair once, ok, I can do her hair style".

My demon left and I controled my voice again. The lady walked me over to a seat and said "ok, let me get the colors". I looked in the mirror and I looked at myself. The lady came back and asked "are you ready"? I smiled and said "yeah".

Ricky walked over and sat next to me in the other salon seat. He turned his chair towards us and watched as the lady colored my hair. After my hair was colored she curled it and asked "you want your make-up done"? I smiled and said "yeah, make everything black".

She walked away to get all the black supplies. Ricky asked "what made you want to do this"? I said "start fresh". I tried to turn towards the mirror to see myself, but Ricky put his foot on my chair and turned my chair towards him. He said "no peeking until your completely done". I asked "how does it look"? He smiled and said "to be honest I like your hair like that, you look nice".

The lady came back and said "ok, hold still". She did my make-up which took about 10 minutes. After she was done she turned my chair towards the mirror and I looked into it. I smiled and touched my hair and face. I smiled and said "I love it".

I turned towards Ricky and asked "how do I look"? He smiled and said "you look beautiful"! I smiled back and said "thanks". We all walked over to the counter and I gave her $100 dollers. She said "but it only costs $40". I smiled and said "this is a thank you, please take it". She smiled and said "thank you". I gave her a hug and said "no, thank you".

We waved good bye to her and we went outside to the car. We got in and asked "so where to now"? He sat in his seat and went into a deep thought. He said "well, we could always go to a club". I laughed and said "well you remember how that went last time". He said "ok, then lets go eat somewhere". I said "ok, I'm hungry".

Ricky drove and looked for the perfect place for us to eat at. He said "this place looks good". I looked at the sign and it said 'Howler'. I never heard of this place, but my wolf said "wonder if they refer to me". I quietly said "I dont know".

We got out and walked into the place. It was really nice, but dark inside. A waitress came over to us and asked "booth or bar"? Ricky smiled and said "bar". She walked us over to the bar and we took our seats. She handed us menus and said "just tell the bartender what you want". I said "thank you" while she walked away.

Ricky slid me my fake ID and said "take your pick". I called over the bartender and asked "can I get a strawberry margerita"? He asked "can I see your ID"? I handed it to him and he examined it. He handed it back and looked over at Ricky. He asked "and what can I get for you"? Ricky said "just get me a beer, surprise me".

The bartender got our drinks and handed them to us. I looked around the place and seen somebody sitting on the other end of the bar. It was Reedus. I mumbled "you got to be kidding me". Reedus looked at me, but I dont think he recognized me. I looked around some more and seen another young guy at the bar. He looked familiar so I thought about who he could be.

It hit me. It was the cute guy that bumped me in the mall. I was going to go over and say hi, but he was to close to Reedus. Ricky asked "how's your drink"? I took a sip and said "good". He took a small sip of his beer and asked "what are you ordering"? I thought and said "probably some fries". He said "lets get a large, that way we could split it". I said "ok".

Ricky called over the bartender and told him what we wanted. I watched as he made the fries. It took him about 10 minutes. He asked "you want anything to dip them in"? I looked at Ricky and asked "lets get ketchup". He smiled and said "definately".

The bartender put a ton of ketchup on the fried and brought it over to us. I said "thank you" which made Reedus look over. I told my wolf "I think he recognized my voice". She said "his wolf sences me".

I quickly ate  my part of the fries while Ricky ate his. I got up and said "lets get out of here". He asked "whats wrong"?
