The Darkness Inside

Ch:45

Tears rolled down my face as I got further and further away from my pack. I didn't want to make my pack upset. I didn't want to suddenly leave them like I did. I didn't want to leave Chris like that. But in order for them to stay safe I needed to leave them. Even if it upsets them.

  I heard there whimpers and howls as they read the text. I turned into my wolf so I could get away faster. Their howls filled the air. The girls were crying as they howled, so was Chris.Josh, Ethan, and Aiden has in angry and worried tone in their howls.

Jamie howled asking "Where are you"? Becky said "get back here now"! In a whimpering voice Chris howled "please don't do this to me babe. I need you". His comment made my stomach churn and my heart ache.

No matter how much I wanted to, I didn't howl back. I wanted to tell Chris that I loved him, but I could give away my location. All I did was run and cry. I felt terrible. My heart was aching, but I had to stay strong and carry on with my plans.

As I ran I caught onto the scent of Reedus. I started to see wolves and they seen me. They howled, snarled, and growled at me. I smiled then I said "if you know what's good for you, you will just hand over Reedus, NOW"! They snarled and laughed at me. I shrugged my shoulder then I said "ok, it's your death wish".

I did something that I never did before. I let my banshee come out along with my wolf. She was pissed and she wanted to kill. My howl was a loud banshee howl. I was  big scary alpha wolf with glowing bright ice blue eyes. They were almost white.

I charged at the wolves. I went ballistic on them. I ripped them all to shreds. Once there was one left I grabbed her by the throat. She started to whimper and cry. In a choked up voice she said "please don't kill me. I'll tell you anything you want to know".

Her eyes were filled with terror and fear. I loosened my grip on her throat then I asked "where is Reedus"? She said "in the cave". I asked "where's the cave"? She said "over there, the entrance is behind the leaves".

I set her down then I said "run, as far away from here as you can, GO"! She ran away crying. I snarled then I bolted towards the cave. I tore through the leaves and I tackled and killed wolves. Before I knew it I was surrounded by wolves.

My powers slipped through my hands. All of the wolves flew back and they smacked their heads off of the hard rock walls. The force of my powers were so great that I actually killed a lot of them. I ran past them and I went down the cave.

A set of red eyes glowed off in the distance. Reedus said "hello my dear". I snarled at him. The fur on my back stood up. I transformed back into my human because he was in his human form. He smiled devilishly as he said "great news, your boyfriend is still alive". My heart sank and a lump formed in my throat.

I cleared my throat then I said "leave him out of this". Reedus laughed then he walked closer to me. He wrapped his hand around my waist then he brought me close to him. Our bodies were mashed together. He put his lips on mine. Anger rushed over me.

I got my claws out then I slashed his cheek. He grabbed my hair then he threw me against the wall. "He screamed "STUPID BITCH" then he punched me in my face. He snarled as he said "I'm gonna enjoy killing your boyfriend". I screamed "NO PLEASE DONT". He kicked me in the face then I was out kick a light.

As soon as I came to I shot up. I was on my feet in a matter of seconds. I stumbled as I attempted to run. My head as pounding and my nose was bleeding. I made my way through the cave again. I stumbled into the main room where I fought all of the wolves.

I looked at the wolves that I hurt with my powers when I threw them against the wall. One of the stood out.Shane laid limp on the floor. In a whisper I said "oh no". I walked over to him and I picked his head up off of the floor. I took all of his pain away then he moved. He opened his eyes weakly then he whispered "Reedus left, he went after a guy named Chris or something like that. He also took some other wolves with him".

My heart sank. I wanted to leave, but I couldn't leave Shane all hurt. I asked "what can I do"? He said "leave me here, go save our boyfriend". I kissed his forehead then I said "I'm sorry". He said "no I'm sorry, I should have stopped Reedus a long time ago.....good luck". His eyes rolled back into his head then he let out his last breath.

I gently placed his head on the ground then I let out a sigh. At least he was with his brother now. I got up off of the floor then I ran over to the exit. I needed to get to Chris before Reedus did. In mid jump I shifted into my wolf. I ran as fast as I could. My legs were on fire, but I wasn't planning to stop any time soon.
