Ch:22

I pulled into Devins house and looked around. Their van was in the driveway and they were packing stuff into the small trailer connected to the van. I got out and I walked over to them. I looked back and I said to the girls "you are allowed to get out of the car".

They all got out and stood by the car. I said "cmon over here, meet the guys". I said "this is Brandon, thats Ricky, Josh, Devin, Ryan". They all waved to eachother. I asked Josh "where is Chris"? Josh said "last time I seen him he was in the basement packing up the mic stand".

I went into the house and I went downstairs. Chris was packing up the rest of the items they were taking to the concert. I cleared my throat loud enough for him to hear. He looked back and he smiled when he was that it was me.

He got up and he walked over to me. I asked "you nervous"? He said "yes, but I feel calm when I'm around you". I smiled and I walked closer to him. I wrapped my arms around him just under his armpits. He wrapped his arms around my neck and he kissed the top of my head.

He said "I'm glad your coming, I'll have the confidence knowing that you will be right at the satge, and the good thing about that is I can pull you up if I want". I smiled and I said "now that seems fun"! He said "well then I might just do that". I asked "and what would I do, just stand there"? He said "no, you could go back with Brandon when we play Ghosts In The Mirror".

I said "he will do fine without me, no need to pull me onto the stage". I said "lets go outside, I have some people for you to meet". We grabbed everything that needed to be carried up and we went up the steps. When we got to the front door I put all the cases in one hand. Chris said "be careful babe, those are hea...". I held all of the cases in my one hand. It felt like nothing, but that was probably because I had wolf strenght.

We got outside and we stuffed everything into the trailer. He smiled and asked "who are all your friends"? I said "well as you know thats Mikayla, the one in all black is Becky, and the one with the same pants a Mikayla is Jamie". He waved to them and they waved back.

I asked "are you ready to go"? He said "yeah, but I'm nervous". I said "dont be, you'll do fine". I kissed his cheek then I walked back to car. Chris said "follow us". I nodded and all the girls got into the car. Chris got into the drivers seat of the van while all the guys piled up in the back.

I'm guessing that they all went in their built in beds. I pulled out of the driveway then he pulled out. He now was infront of me so he moved forward. I followed closely behind and once in a while one of the guys would make faces at me through the back window.

I would just shake my head and laugh. I looked at the trailer. The doors were shut, but they werent tight. I used my powers to force the doors shut the whole way. When we came to a stoplight some of the guys looked at us through the back of their van. I could only see some of them because the trailer was blocking most of my view.

I stuck my head out the driver window and I had faces back at them. Then the light turned green so I had to be serious again. Becky asked "how much longer"? I said "I dont know, let me text Chris to find out".

At the next red light I got out my phone and I texted him saying "Becky wants to know how much longer". He quickly replied saying "we have a good hour to go". I told that to Becky and she said "damn, why is it so far away". I know that it was a rhetorical question, but I said "well it will be fun so the wait is worth it".

The light turned green so I put my phone back into my pocket. My phone buzzed so I got it out and I quickly read the text. I t was from Josh. It said "you still up for the Reedus thing this weekend"? I said "yeah, Mikayla might join us".

I texted Mikayla asking "will you help us hunt down Reedus this weekend"? She said "of courese, but I'll let you kill him". I smiled then I put my phone away. I continued to drive and continued to watch the guys make faces at me out the window.
