The Darkness Inside

Ch:49

1 MONTH LATER:

We all ran through the woods together. Wind blowing in our fur. Chris ran beside me. He bumped into me jokingly so I jumped on him and I pinned him  to the ground. He smiled then he liked my cheek. I got off of him then he got up.

He walked beside me then he rubbed his head against mine. We caught up with the pack then we went into hunting mode. There was a whole herd of deer in a corn field eating about 50 yards away. I got in the front then I crouched inching my way forward.

My pack mimicked me. Once I was in the corn field I whispered "now". We sprung up and we chose the deer that we wanted. I picked a huge buck. He ran so I did too. I jumped forward and I dug my claws into his back.

It made a painful noise as I brought it to the ground. I slashed it's throat making it die instantly. I started to eat. I enjoyed the tasty meat. Chris couldn't catch anything so I dragged the deer over to him and I said "here, eat".

He smiled then he said "thanks babe". He dug into the flesh and we both devoured the deer. The others also enjoyed their meals. We ate for about an hour before we even thought of leaving the cornfield.

Once I was done I sat and waited for everyone else to finish. Chris finished next so he sat next to me. We watched the rest of our pack. They would mess with each other while they ate. Ethan and Aiden would fight over pieces of food.

Josh and Mikayla were flirting so that made me smile. I whispered to Chris "I think they like each other". Chris whispered back "I know so, Josh even told me that he likes her". I linked minds with Josh then I said "you should ask her out"!

I quickly shifted into my human then I started to walk over. Josh gave a look then he shifted into his human too. Soon the whole pack changed into their human forms. Josh said back to me through linked minds "maybe I will".

I smiled then he took Mikayla off to the side. I watched as he got close to her ear. He asked her then she nodded. I smiled then I ran over to Chris. I grabbed onto his hand then I whispered "he asked her". Chris looked down at me then he said "and...". I smiled then I said "it's a yes".

Chris looked back at Josh then he gave him a thumbs up. I yanked on Chris's hand and pulled him to me. I stood on my tippy toes then I wrapped my arms around him. I kissed him then I playfully pushed him backward.

I transformed into my wolf then I ran. The pack shifted then they followed me. Chris shifted too. He ran and caught up to me. He grabbed me, but I ran even faster causing him to lose his grasp on me. I laughed as I watched him struggle to keep up with me.

Mikayla and Josh ran side by side. Ethan sped up and rammed into me. We both laughed, but then I picked up my speed even more. There was a cliff up ahead with a huge waterfall so I went even faster. I ran and jumped off of the cliff.

I shifted back to my human in mid air. I dove into the water then I brought myself up to the surface. The others were standing at the edge of the cliff. Then Chris pushed them all in. After they all fell into the water he stood on the edge laughing.

I put my hand up then I flicked my wrist backwards. My powers sent Chris flying over the edge of the cliff. The pack started to laugh. When he surfaces I asked "paybacks a bitch, isn't it sweetie"? He smiled his cute smile then he said "it sure is".

He went under the water so nobody could see him. In a few seconds he had his hands wrapped around his ankles. He pulled me under the water then he kissed me. I smiled then I brought us both up to the surface.

Josh splashed water in my face so I splashed him back. Mikayla, Jamie, Becky, and I all swam over to a rock and we sat on it. We watched the boys horse around in the water. Jamie asked "so when do you think he will ask you to move in with him"? I said "well he lives with the boys, I feel like I would intrude, so I'm glad he didn't ask".
