The Darkness Inside

Ch:19

Halfway through the movie my cell started to vibrate. It was Mikayla. I pressed talk and she asked "who's Dustin"? I said "a waste of time". She said "well he is here right now, he wants to talk to you". I said "tell him to get out of the apartment and go home".

I hung up the phone and wondered what he could possibly want. I texted Mikayla asking "what does he want"? Chris asked "everything ok babe"? I shook my head and said "yep". She texted back saying "he wants you back". I laughed at the thought. He totally ditched me so did Reedus, now they both want me again.

Chris asked "why are you laughing"? I said "just a text Mikayla sent me". He asked "what did she say"? I showed him the text and I explained who Dustin was, but I left out the huge war and him being the king of a coven of vampires.After I explained who he was I said "and he wants me back, I never knew we were actually a thing".

Chris asked "and do you want to go back to him"? I wrapped my arm tighter around his waist as I said "hell no, I love you not him, it will always be you". He smiled then he asked Devin "what are we gonna do tonight"? Devin didnt respond because he was glued to the tv. He paused the movie and asked "what did ya say"? Chris laughed and repeated "I asked you what we were doing tonight"! Devin said "well I wanted to watch the underworld series then maybe after that we could do something".

I said "I love the underworld series"! Devin smiled and said to Chris "this girl is a keeper"! I smiled as the rest of the guys agreed with Devin. Ricky said "unpause the movie, this wolf is about to die". I thought about all the deaths at the war. A shiver went down my spine at the thought.

Devin unpaused the movie and we all resumed watching. Here and there Devin would make funny comments about the movie. Devin was really funny and he was super sweet. After the movie was over Devin said "underworld time".

All the guys including Chris said "not now, lets do something else". Devin said "well last time we played with those guns and we kept shooting eachother". Josh said "dude, theres a girl here, those would hurt her, hell when I get shot my eyes fill up with tears". I said "no, this sounds like fun, I'm in". Devin got up and said "look she has more balls then all of you". I got up to and I said "give me a gun". Devin smiled and said "right this way".

Chris got up then the rest of the guys got up. They made there was over to where Devin and I were. Devin handed me a gun and gave me tiny little pellets. They were tiny colored balls. Some were yellow and some were white. Chris took a gun and grabbed a huge handful of pellets from the container. He put some in his pant pocket and the rest in his gun.

He said "these things sting". I said "I can handle it". After everybody got a gun and pellets Devin said "ok now, since there is a noob here I will tell her the rules". I looked at Chris and asked "did he really just call me a noob"? Chris smiled and said "yeah, dont worry so is Brandon, but he is descent". I smiled and said "I will get you all". He said "well we'll see about that".

Devin said "ok no nut shots, face shots, or neck shots. Once you get shot you have to yell that your out then you have to sit on a couch". Devin asked "you got it"? I said "yeah, now lets play". Chris said "we all split up and go into different rooms, then we like hunt eachother, it gets intense". I said "sounds like fun".

Chris said "I'll stay with you for your first game". I said "no go and hide, I'll be fine". He asked "are you sure"? I said "yes". He kissed me then he said "good luck". Devin counted down then I heard footsteps and running come from all the rooms in the house. I ran behind the couch and I laid down.

I heard footsteps come into the room so I peeked out from behind the couch to see who it was. It was Ryan and Josh. As soon as they had their backs to me I shot at them. I hit them both in the in the center of their backs. They arched their backs and began to run where I shot them at. They looked towards me and said "nice shot". They both yelled  in unison "I'm out" and walked over to the couch.
