The Darkness Inside

Ch:28

Night was approaching in about 2 hours so I needed to make up my mind. When I reached a decision I stood up and everybody looked at me. I said "Elisha get everybody their weapons, we're gonna fight". Elisha said "yes boss". She walked out of the apartment and she went down into the parking lot.

I wondered where she went, but as long as she got us weapons I didnt care where she went. Dustin said "maybe there should be some of us walking with you.We dont know how many wolves are coming, but it would help to have a few of us on the ground with you". I said "ok, you and 2 of your best fighters". Dustin looked around the room and he picked out these 2 buff guys".

The vamps smiled at me and I said "perfect, they look like perfect fighters". Dustin smiled as he said "well I trained them well". Elisha banged on the door saying "let me in". I walked over to the door and I opened it for her. She came in with 2 huge bags, one on each shoulder. She also brought some hunters along. She set them on the bed and she unzipped them.

She began to take all sorts of things out. There were pistols, knives, wolfsbayne, and other  stuff in there". I backed away when she held up the wolfsbayne. Just the smell of it made my wolf uneasy. She said "oh...sorry about that". She grabbed the wolfsbayne and put it back into her bag. After she unloaded everyhting else from the bag she opened the other one.

She pulled out all different kind of weapons, mostly different kinds of silver knives and swords. I went to touch the blade of the knife, but it burned me. I pulled my hand back and I rubbed it. Elisha said "yeah watch out, there is wolfsbayne rubbed all over this, so no wolf in the room touch any of the knives.

I stepped back and I said "trust me, we wont". I healed myself then Josh asked "you ok"? I said "yeah, burns a bit". He said "I got shot with a bullet full of wolfsbayne before. It hurts like hell, but I got lucky because I survived". Elisha said "thats what these bullets are filled with. Silver on the outside and wolfsbayne on the inside, double threat".

I said "well as long as it kills or wounds them I'm ok, but I dont want them to suffer. Everybody, just make it fast and as painless as possible. I dont want to see a lot of wolves suffer tonight". Elisha started to pass out knives to all of the vamps. Dustin took a bigger knife then he stuffed it into his pocket. He walked over to me and he asked "can we talk in private"?

I said "fine, but lets make it quick". I grabbed him by his shirt and I took him out of the room. We stood in the hall and I said "ok, make this quick". Dustin asked "why wont you come back with me"? I said "you abandoned me and didnt help me when my brother died, I cant ever get back with you, ever". He asked "why not"? I said "because I have the best boyfriend ever, a million times better than you". He said "well maybe after tonight you will change your mind". I rolled my eyes and I said "I doubt it".

Dustin stared at me so I walked back into the apartment. Josh asked "I heard what you said, you ok, is he bugging you"? I said "it's fine now, but after all of this is over I want all of them to go back home". Josh said "well I'm always here for you, your like my little sister now, so if you need anything just ask me casue I'll be by your side in a heart beat". I smiled then I hugged him. I whispered "your just like my older brother, but he's dead so I guess you are kind of like my new brother, I'm so glad that I have you and the rest of the boys".

Josh said "well I'm glad...I will always be here for you and I will always protect you and the rest of the guys". I said "thats good, I dont know what I would do if Chris got hurt". Josh said "dont think like that, you will only make yourself upset and worried about him". I asked "but what if Reedus finds him"? Josh said "he wont, Chris is fine, trust me".

Dustin walked in and he walked over to some of his vamp friends. As we talked wolf howls filled our ears. We all looked at eachother then they all looked at me. I said "ok, let's go". We all ran out of the apartment and ran to the parking lot. Dustin said "ok you guys with weapons fly above us, but dont make a sound, we want you guys to be our sneak attack".
