The Darkness Inside

Ch:24

We ran as fast as our 4 legs could go. I sped up a tiny bit and within seconds I was about 50 feet infront of them. Mikayla howled "keep running, we'll catch up to you"! I kept my speed and whe I looked back I couldnt see them. I howled and asked "ALEXIA WHERE ARE YOU"? She howled saying "HE WONT STOP CHASING ME"! Her howl was close so I ran even faster. I needed to save her.

Soon I seen glowing eyes running in my direction. I asked "Alexia"? She said "he's behind me, run". Instead I said "keep running that way, your sister is on that path, I got this guy". Soon I seen a set of red eyes. He wasnt running anymore. Reedus snapped then he said "hello sweetie, I missed you". I said "I told you never to come back".

He laughed then said "well now you see theres one problem, I'm not leaving without you". I said "well then we have a problem". Reedus asked "and whats that"? I smiled and said "I'm not ever leaving with you to go anywhere, I have a boyfriend now and I love him more that I ever loved you".

Reedus stopped paceing. He snarled and growled at me. Then he bared his teeth at me. I said "quit trying to be Mr. Tough guy, your a coward and your not fit to be an alpha. His eyes burned red and his snarl got nastier and scarier.

I asked "is the little baby wolf ok, he seems upset". Reedus growled and said "how dare you talk to me this way, I am your mate". I said "no, I've been done being your mate for quite awhile, and now...I finally feel free". He laughed and he said "do you even know what your saying, you are keeping yourself human most of the time, you need to let your wolf be free". I said "I love my wolf, but sometimes I like to stay human".

Reedus asked "so what are you gonna do to me"? I said "something I should have done a long time ago". I charged after him and I rammed into him. He fell back and stumbled into a tree. I bit down on his neck and I squeezed tightly. He swiped his claws across my face which made me let go. He ketp swiped his claws across my front as I kept stumbling back from all the blows I was taking from him.

When he finally stopped there was blood everywhere. My chest was just gushing blood out of every wound. I smiled as I placed my hands on my wounds. They healed and he said "impossible". I smiled and said "wrong again". I leaped onto him and he fell to the ground. I snarled in his face then I bit down on his neck again.

He whimpered until he grabbed a treebranch. We smacked me across the face with it and I flew back. I ran after him again and he charged at me. When we reached eachother we stood on our hine legs and started to bite at eachothers faces.

Reedus found the oppertunity to bite down on my neck. His fangs sank deep into my neck and he started to crush my throat. I gasped for air and in a few seconds I could breath again. I picked my head off of the ground and I looked up.

Josh was holding Reedus by the throat. I got up and I wlaked over to them. I looked around and I saw Mikayla hugging Alexia. I said to Josh "let me kill him". Reedus said "even if you kill me, the whole pack will come after you guys". I said "then let them".

I grabbed Reedus by the throat and I dug my nails into his neck. He said "you cant kill me, your my mate". I laughed as I said "I never felt like your mate". His eyes turned dark blue but I ignored it. I remembered how my brother died because of Reedus. Anger rushed over me and I took my other hand and I slashed my claws across his throat.

His eyes rolled into the back of his head and he hung limp from my hand. I dropped him and I started to cry. My demon got angry as it ripped itself out of me. I dropped to my knees and by back arched. My banshee screamed as it ripped out of me.

After it was out it disappearded into thin air. I sat on my knees and I looked down at Reedus. I got upset to I got up and I walked away. Josh asked "you ok"? I said "yeah, just wish it didnt have to be that way".

 I transformed into my human and I still had my clothes on. I didnt know how, but I was glad because they were new. I walked over to Alexia. I asked "how are you"? She said "alive thats to you". Mikayla smiled and said "thank you so much Shelby, she..well she could be gone if it werent for you". I said "no problem".

My wolf started to whimper. Josh walked over to me and he hugged he. I wrapped my arms around him and I began to cry. I leaned my head against his fur because he was standing on his hind legs. I said to Mikayla "get her back to the apartment, I'm gonna go out with the guys.

Mikayla and Alexia ran back in the direction of the hotel while Josh and I ran in the direction we came from. Josh stayed in his wolf form. I asked "how will you get clothes"? Josh transformed into a human and he had his clothes on. He said "if you really want to keep your clothes you just make sure that they dont rip".

I stopped because my banshee started to freak out. I screamed in my banshee voice. I said "Josh we have to go, someones hurt". I transformed into my wolf and so did he. We ran as fast as we could towards the smell of fresh blood.

We quickly turned back into our human form. We seen a bunch of guys circled around a guys lying on the street. They were kicking his and beating him to death. I ran over and I yelled "STOP IT NOW". They didnt so I had to fight them.

I took the guys knife and I said "if you dont back up now I will kill you". The one guy laughed and asked "oh yeah"? I sliced the knife across his arm. He said "this bitch is crazy, lets go boys". They all ran away and they disappearded into the darkness of the night.

I kneeled down by the limp body. I asked "are you ok"? A faint voice whispered "help me". I put my hand over his and I took his pain away. The black stuff went in my veins and I held back my screams. It hurt because I was now getting all the pain that he felt. I bit my lip  to stop a scream from coming out. I tried to take more out, but I was too late.

The guy died so I closed my eyes and I turned him to dust like I did at the war. I said "this night sucks now". Josh said "I know, but we can still go hang out with the guys". I said "yeah, your right". We walked away and we smelled for the boys.

I said "the smell is getting stronger". Josh said "I think they are in that club over there". I said "maybe, lets go check it out".
