Gen nod then look at her as well.

The pretty girl walk then tap my head.

"Ganda padin ng buhok mo Saia ah? Natural parin ba?"

I nod while looking at her. She get some sanrio and comb at pumunta sa likod ko to comb my hair. Teka lang, I think I remember where I learn how to braid my hair. Inisip ko muna sya ng bongga, nakapikit pako while remembering the time that there's someone who's always braiding my hair.

*flashback

"Yan ok na Sai!" sabi nung girl na nasa likod ko

As my memory serves right, she was 13 when I was 8 back then

"My name is Saia ok?" sabi ko pa na imbis na mag thank you, sinungitan pa sya

"Ayaw mo ng Sai?"

"Ayaw ko nga"

"Cute nga eh, don't worry ako lang ang tatawag sayo nun"

"Bahala ka nga."

"What do you think Sai?"

"It's pretty" sabi ko while looking at my braided hair

"Really?"

"Yup!" I smile at her

"Thank you Ate-------"

*end of flashback

Humarap ako sa girl na nag fish tail braid ng buhok ko

"Ate Cam????" nanlaki ang mata ko sa gulat.

She nod then automatically hugged me tight

"I knew you can recognize me" sabi nya

Is she what is she now? She's pretty on her dress, grabe ang ganda ganda nya. She's like a model on her height and face syempre. Didn't recognize her nga diba?

Camille Guillermo, kababata namin halos ni Kuya to. Medyo ahead din sya sakin gaya ni Kuya pero mas ahead parin si Kuya ng 1 year sa kanya. She's not our relative or whatever pero she often comes to our house to play with us. Then lagi nya binebraid ang buhok ko. But then one day, her parents decides to continue her studies abroad. Sa Australia to be exact and after that, we didn't know how was she or what she was doing there.

At simpleng gulat talaga ang naramdaman ko nung hindi ko sya marecognize ngayon. She was really really beautiful. Maganda naman sya dati pa, but she's different now. The way she carry herself and all. At ang nakakapagtaka, kilala sya ni Gen Philip San Juan. Remember that he was Simon's cousin. Pareho sila ng surname. Oh well! hindi naman yun ang issue ngayon eh.

"When did you----?"

"Last week lang!" she said energetically

"Ah......." I feel awkward at some point though

"And you know her as well Gen?" yan ang pinagtataka ko ngayon

"Yup" lumakad sya at inakbayan si Ate Cam

"She was my long lost pet" sabay tawa nya

"Shut it cous!"

"Cous?" I asked

"Yeah, we're cousins. Sa mother side" sabi ni Ate Cam

"Ah........" and yup, I'm still like a dumb shell right now.

"Ngayon ko rin lang nalaman yun Saia, nung nakita ni Cam si Gen nagtaka ako. Yun pala mag pinsan sila. Sorry pre ha?" sabi ni Kuya sabay suntok sa balikat ni Gen

"Don't mention it Kuya"

"Wow ha? Kuya talaga? Liligawan mo ba si Sai at mukhang nagpapalakas ka kay Shaquil ah?" usisa ni Ate Cam

"Hahahahaha" tanging sagot ni Gen

"I don't see why not" sabay habol nyang sabi at ngumiti sakin

"Hey!" Kuya shouts sabay tawa ni Ate Cam

"Kaw naman Shaqs, joke lang" sabay lapit nya at kinurot si Kuya sa pisngi

"Knock it off will yah?" Kuya annoyingly said at umiwas

"Ayaw mo parin talaga pakurot sa pisngi"

"Masakit kaya"

Tumigil si Ate Cam at humarap samin

"Do you want banana bread? I can bake you some"

"Banana what?" Kuya asked

"Bread duh? Deaf!"

"Baka sunugin mo bahay namin oi! Wag na"

"Kaw naman, I can cook na kaya! Nag aral ako ng culinary sa Australia noh!"

"I don't trust you"

"Ang cold mo naman Shaqs, but I don't need your trust noh, si Sai at Gen lang ang ipagluluto ko" sabay alis ni Ate

"By the way, can I use your kitchen? Thankie!!~~" sabay lakad nya. Aha! Sa kanya ko nakuha yung salitang 'thankie' hahahaha ngayon ko lang naalala.

"Hey!" sumunod si Kuya leaving Gen and I at the salas

Naupo ako sa sofa at natawa while looking at my braided hair.

"It suits you" Gen starts the conversation

"Weh?"

"Yup, it's cute. Good thing she still knows how to do that"

"Yeah and I can't believe myself na dito ko lang sya maalala"

"It's been almost 5 years narin siguro eh"

Natahimik kami, may dumaan ba? Pero grabe naman ang koneksyon namin ni Gen. Una, pinsan sya ni Simon na kaklase ko. Pangalawa, ninong sya ni Tricia na pamangkin ko. At ikatlo, pinsan sya sa mother side ni Ate Cam na kababata namin ni Kuya. What's gotten into mother earth?? Why?

"Say...." sabi nya

I look at him

"Don't you find it strange?"

"Strange?"

"Yeah, sa you know our connection. I bet you noticed it too"

Natawa ako, ang galing talaga ng psychic power ni Koya! Pero since kaming dalawa ang involve, I won't be surprised if he noticed it too.

"Oo nga eh, too weird right?"

"Hahaha was that the right word?"

"I guess so. Too strange, being connected on one another."

"Yup"

At natahimik nanaman kami at natawa sya bigla

"What's funny?"

"This. Don't you think it was mother fate's plan?"

"Huh?"

"Nevermind" then he stands and walk through the door

Plan of what? I don't know what he's up to. Anong fate ang pinagsasasabi nito? And weird nun ha?

"Hey! Where are you going?" tumayo ako at sinundan sya

"I have to go, medyo napatagal na ko dito" sabi nya

"Hatid kita kahit sa may gate lang"

"Wag na" binuksan nya yung door knob at lumingon sakin

"You sure? Paalam ka muna kina Kuya at Ate"

"Say goodbye for me"

Binuksan nya yung gate then close it. Naistart ang motor and look at me.

"Thanks girlfriend! See you around!" he smiles at binaba ang protector ng helmet at humarurot ng takbo.

"Umalis na si Gen?" Ate Camille asked, nasa likuran ko pala sya

I nod then pumasok na sa loob.
