Arkong kawayan na!! Woohoo!!
"Saia ano tara na?" Isaiah shouts outside and I wave at him from my terrace
"Coming!"
Every December 1- Arkong Kawayan Festival on our town, Isaiah and I are used to be together since High School and we both watched it. He usually picking me up, before palakad ngayon pamotor.
"Nice on time ka" he said after gaving me the helmet
"Ofcourse! You knew that I always looking forward to this. Every year actually"
"I know huh? So shall we?" and off we go
San Francisco Parish Church
Pinarada muna ni Isaiah yung motor. Nagsabi naman kami bago makiparada eh then we look for a better spot to watch the fireworks. I even bring my DSLR Camera. Feeling photographer nanaman ako eh. Then we took a couple of pictures of each other then natigilan ako bigla. After another pose
"Oh bakit?" he asked
"Ok lang ba na ganto? Makapag selfie tayo kala mo wala tayong ano......alam mo na"
Then he laughed
"Ano ka ba naman all of these years ganto gawi natin"
"I know pero alam mo rin naman na iba na tayo diba? I mean yung sitwasyon natin"
"I'm glad nga na we're still watching this festival together eh. Despite the fact na medyo nahiwalay na tayo ng konti. Ok lang yan, alam naman natin ang totoo eh. Don't bother yourself Megan know this already, nakwento ko na sa kanya so I know she'll understand"
"I hope so"
"How about Ichi"
"Him? Yup he will"
Then we wait for the countdown.
ZERO!!!! Then the fireworks filled the starry sky like WOW!!!!
Hindi ko na napicturan yung fireworks and yup I was about to capture it but forget all about it dahil masyado mababaw ang kaligayahan ko at napanganga ako haha
After ng countdown pinicturan namin ang arko ng bawat Subdivision/ Baranggay
We talk and laugh and walk like we used to. When we're still FREE and you know what that means. Actually I'm still free, waiting for him. Just being pulled by a stupid desperate freak who knows my feelings towards Isaiah so technically I'm not free. But like I used to, I'm glad and happy with Isaiah alone. No Megan and no ICHI! No pest. Thank goodness
"So where are we going?" then we look at each other
"Puto bung bong?" then we run while laughing
We ate puto bung bong with tea. Kwentuhan, tawanan like we used to.
After that nag papicture kami sa mga arko. Naupo kami sa may park filled with Christmas lights. Oh it is really Christmas season. I'm so excited >.<
"San na tayo pupunta?" he asked
"Don't know. Uwi na ba tayo?"
Tapos napalingon ako sa lalaking may dalang pro cam.
"Gen?" I shout then lumingon sya but didn't wear a smile. He just walk away
"Gen! wait up!" I shout again while running
He stop then look at me with his blank face
"Uhm Gen may.....may nagawa ba ko sayo?" I asked with a broken voice
He shook his head then tried to walk again when I pull his arm
"Sorry" sabi ko
"Wag ka mag sorry wala to ano ka ba" then smile
"Gen kung may problema ka sabihin mo lang sakin, we're friends right?"
He tap my head and try to smile
"Of course girlfriend. Promise I'll be okay"
"Oh pano alis nako. Nakidayo lang ako with Ate Cam so she's waiting for me over there" he point out the church.
"Say hi for me" I smile
"I will" then he took a picture of me
"Hey!" then he look at the picture
"Nice picture. Beautiful" then he walks away.
Pagbalik ko sa may upuan kung san ko iniwan si Isaiah, he was just watching the lights around blinking through his eyes. He was like an innocent boy who wants to stare at those beautiful light all night long.
"Nice isn't it?" he said
"Yup. I'm sorry I leave you"
"It's ok. So san tayo pupunta?"
"Don't know"
"Go home? May pasok pa" oo nga pala lunes na bukas
"And we're back to reality again" he said and walk

When I got home, I saw a bunch of text messages on my phone. Tapos nung tiningnan ko. Halos lahat puro kay Ichi. Yayks!
I try to call him to say sorry then. Speaking of the Devil. Naunahan ako
"What is wrong with you? Nakita mo ba kung ilang text at calls na yung nagawa ko?" he shouts at me big time
"Hey look I'm so---"
"You wasted my precious time to calling and texting you and I didn't even received a reply from you?"
"I'm sorr---"
"Ano ba? Nananadya ka ba talaga? Nasa rule natin yun diba? Inform each other from time to time?"
"Teka diba nag sabi ako sa----"
"No! Did I accept your excuse? Or should I accept your apology?"
"Makinig ka kaya muna"
"Bakit pa"
"Ay letse ibababa ko na to kung di karin lang-----"
"Wait" he said with urgency
I sigh then hear his questions at hindi tanong ang narinig ko
"I talk to her" his voice was really uncertain
Natigilan ako sa sinabi nya, it take too long to process then I realized my lips was curving a smile
"And????"
"That's it"
"What do you mean that's it? "
"Don't want to spoil the details here"
"Kaya dimo sasabihin? Yan ba talaga intensyon mo sa pagtawag?"
He paused for a bit then
"THE HELL DID YOU DO WITH HIM? DIDN'T I TELL YOU THAT YOU MOVE AS I SAY???"
"Like blah blah blah! As if noh! We signed a contract I control my part here young man, you can't control me as if I am a doll"
"You look like one, I mean like a life size one"
"WHAT?"
"Nothing. In particular"
"Say it again so I can drop this stupid call!!"
"OK fine fine fine" he said
Maya maya he paused for a bit then giggled
"Ok so happy birthday"
"Hahahaha what? All of the sudden"
"Coz I have no intention of greeting you on that day"
"If you're going to talk non sense I'm leaving this line"
"Wait I----"
I cut the line and throw my phone on my bed and slumps myself. He know nothing but to ruin my day, tease me every second and laugh on my mistakes. Crediting that he's more smarter than me. It's always like that, hindi ko alam kung tatagal pa ko sa kalokohan na to. Mas maganda siguro yung ako na lang ang gumawa ng paraan ko mag isa. I'll cut this stupid contract right away.
