The Rule Number 22

CHAPTER 46:

After ng klase I saw Ichi on the parking lot, waiting for me, he was leaning against his car. And while I am running all the way through him, students are staring at me. Gossipers.

"Hey, ready to go home?" he asked me with a smile

"What's with the smile?"

"Nothing, I assume you have an answer"

And I understand what he was talking about. He grabbed my bag and toss it on the back seat of the car. While we're talking, we saw Megan and Isaiah. Walking. Holding hands. At tumigil sila sa may tapat namin. We're just staring at each other. Ichi wrap me with his arms and smile at me.

"Let's go?" he asked and I just nod and made my way through the door of the car. He opened it for me and I get myself in.

"Nakakasira ng araw"

"Sorry what was that?" I asked him but he just shook his head and start the engine of the car.

"You gave me a wrong number! What is wrong with you?"

"Huh? No I'm not! That's mine" He grab his phone in the car and navigate it. Then he almost stick the cellphone on my face

"See?"

"How am I supposed to see it dimwit! Ilayo mo nga" then I just grabbed it and check it.

I check the number and he was right.

"But who's the one who answered it?" I asked in confusion

"What is he sounds like?"

"He's not a he, she's a she. A little girl perhaps"

"Huh?" he asked

"Don't huh me. Batang babae nga yung sumagot"

"Babae? There's no girl on our house. And besides I was playing my PSP last night so I didn't manage to answer it. I just saw that there's a number who called me"

"Weh?" my voice was shaking

"Who's the one I've talked to?" then I look at him with my wobble eyes.

"Don't tell me" he said with a shaking voice

"Hey! Don't tell me may nakausap kang creature?" then he widens his eyes, he was as surprised yet scared as I am

"Hoy! Don't talk like that stupid! There's no such thing as ghost!!" but I admit na nanginginig na yung boses ko.

"And she even used my phone"

"Shut up! Wag mo....... wag mo ko takutin" sabi ko nalang

Then he laughed. At dun ako nabwisit

"This is not a laughing matter! I'm serious! May sumagot nga" Naiiyak nako, peste multo ba yun? I don't believe in them but now? I'll think about it

"Look at your face, it was like a radish on its whiteness!" then he hold his stomach and laugh hard.

"Letse ka!" then naglakad ako at binatak nya ko

"Ok ok hindi na" he's still holding my arms while trying not to laugh. His eyes have tears, and I supposed its what they called tears of joy. Yeah this stupid freak really enjoys it big time!

"Can you be  more serious?" I asked

"Wait lang, ubusin ko lang tawa ko" then he laughed again, I wait for him to be finished. At maya maya medyo natahimik na sya at mukhang bumalik na sa wisyo
