The Rule Number 22

CHAPTER 37:

And I didn't notice myself that I am trying to grind the glass with my own bare hand. And as the glass broke, my hand burns.

"Oh my God Saia!!!" Phil suddenly shouts, fixing his eyes on my hand. And as I saw my hand, it was in the pool of blood. He hold my hand not even realizing he will stain his.

"What happened?" Simon runs then saw

"Oh my gosh Saia" Megan scream

Isaiah rushes through me and get my hand from Phil. He pull me through the faucet and open it.

"Are you ok?" he said. He was calm, I just nod and looked at him. I cause them again another problem.

"Can you get the first aid kit please?" he said

"It was on the cabinet on the right" I point it out on them then Phil saw the cabinet and open it, immediately gets the first aid kit and give it to Isaiah

After rinsing my hand on the faucet, he examines it and saw some parts of the crystal glass pieces and pull using a twiser. I winced in pain but not gonna cry. Actually Megan stole my tears and cry for me instead. While Simon and Phil are just watching.

After a few examines thingy, Isaiah gets the bandage/gauge, cotton, alcohol, betadine and first aid tape. He first get the alcohol and open it. My eyes widens and saw he opens it

"Really?" As I saw it and look at him in conformation. I try to pull my hand but it was to hard to resist. He asked Simon to put a weight on my arms so I can't pull my hand.

"This will be painful. Just a bit"

"SAIA!!!" Megan and Phil shouts in chorus and close their eyes.

"Ouch" I said

"Huh?" Pagtataka ni Simon

"What?"

"That's it?"

"Why? expecting me to cry? Well, they already took my thunder so I leave them be" sabi ko at tumingin sa dalawang nakapikit. Oh diba ang yabang ko. Alcohol lang naman kasi yun eh masakit lang mahapdi. Mas mahapdi nga lang yung nasaksihan ko the whole day to sum it up. Wala na lang ang alcohol

"Done, brave girl" Isaiah tap my head and smile, tapos na nyang lagyan ng bandage yung kamay ko

"Don't just crush a wine glass you hear me? It will be tetanous" he said at tinabi yung first aid kit.

"You know that?"

"My Mom is a Doctor" he said

"So ok na? OK ka na Saia?" Megan asked, I just nod and smile

"So ok na sya! Let's cook again" she continued

"OK, meryenda naman"

At I gave it a rest already. I just enjoy the rest of the day with them. I just ignored what I feel when I saw them. We play at the back yard then after that we eat. Then nag kwentuhan kami and we didn't realize what time it is. Time really runs fast if you enjoy it.

"I enjoy this day Saia! Next time ulet" Sabi ni Megan habang palabas kami ng bahay

"Oo nga eh, salamat sa abala"

"Haha sira ka talaga Simon"

"Salamat Saia"

"Wala yun"

"Bye!"

"Si Phil?" Isaiah asked while watching Megan and Simon na umalis.

"Ah him? He said he will stay for a while. He will just wait for his mother's text. Wala daw syang spare key ng bahay nila so I allowed him to stay. And besides I treat him as my best friend narin"

"Really? Hindi na ako" pagtatampo pa nya with a cute expression that he rarely wears.

"Nako naman nagtampo? Syempre ikaw pa ba? Number one ka eh" Pati sa puso ko Isaiah, kung alam mo lang talaga

"You sure are ok with him?"

"Isaiah"

"haha just kiddin'. Uwi narin ako. May practice game pa ulit"

"Sige ingat ka" sabi ko  nalang

And before he leave, he kiss me on my right injured hand (I didn't mentioned what hand, haha sorry)

"Pagaling ka" sabi nya and then he waves as he leaves

Pumasok na ko ako with my explode cheeks at napansin ni Phil habang kumakain sa sofa.

"Kumakain ka nanaman?"

"What? I just feel like it, don't worry I still have a dance rehearsals tomorrow"

"You're-----"

"A dance troupe member" he said

"HAHAHAHA really?"

"Kahit wis ka maniwala sa watashi!"

(Kahit hindi ka maniwala sa akin)

"ok kiddin aside, what the heck was the act earlier?"

"Act?"

"Don't be stupid Saia, I barely know you for a month or two but I can read you easily"

"It's just-------"

"Jealousy?"

"Looks like it" at nilapitan ko sya sa sofa

"At you really admit it"

"Phil I know you for a very long time. Joke lang, I know you will hunt me in my dreams if I did not admit it to you"

"You really know me. So what's the plan"

"IDK"

(I don't know)

"Why?"

"It's just that, I just want to give it a rest already"

"A rest? Lamay ba?"

"Phil!!"

"Echos lang to naman. So nga-nga? We've got to move on na ba ang drama"

"Looks like it"

"Why are you so relaxed all of the sudden? Dahil sa baso na binasag mo with your bare hands? Oh....scary"

"Lokaret. Hindi ko rin alam, siguro na immune narin ako bigla eh. Parang sa araw araw narin na ginawa ni Papa God na magkakasama kami at iba ang tingin nila sa isat isa eh parang sumuko na ko"

"Yun na yun? Ok, may Papa Ichi ka naman eh"

"Give it a rest already he's not my type"

"Ok if you say so. But some things will turn you upside down. Probably not now. But watch out Saia. And don't worry if that happens I'll be by your side"

"Thanks Phil" And we hugged each other

Things wll turn upside down huh? Probably not now just like what Phil said. Maybe I'll just wait for that to happen. And if that happens, I'll be prepared as ever will be. Go Saia Marie! Positive thinking lang!
