Chapter 67

Damon begins knocking at Bonnie's door. "Hi damon,brighton is putting on his shirt." She said opening the door

"I could come early next time to help." He said

"No. I'm just a bit tired from getting him to sleep late last night. He thought he saw monster's under his bed." She said

"Daddy!" Brighton said running to damon.

"Hey buddy." Damon said picking him up.

"School." Brighton said

Bonnie looked at Damon and nod.

"I will take you to school okay then see you later." He said

"Thank you,damon." She said

"Sure. That's what daddy is here for." He said smirking

She smiled then a knock came at the front door. Bonnie saw Matt through the peep hole and opened the door. "Good morning matt."

"Good morning bonnie,I know this is early and you might be busy. But I have somethings to discuss with you." Matt said

"Sheriff Matt on duty again?" Damon asked

"I think he wants to talk with me alone damon." She said

"Actually it concerns you both. The DA is bringing enzo death to trial and she thinks you two know exactly what happened." Matt informed them

"Enzo kidnapped our son and my uncle." Bonnie said

"This has to be a joke." Damon said

"They're saying since no foul play was proving in your uncle death and Brighton kidnapping was never brought to trial it's technically out of our hands." Matt said

"Wow this is crazy. So who are they pending enzo death on?" She retorted

"Me of course." Damon said

"Actually the new DA is looking into Bonnie history with enzo. You would have the motivate and mean to." Matt said

"If I killed enzo he would deserve it but i didn't." She said

"I know but i just thought to inform you both. Maybe she will come after you damon. Even ask Elena or stefan. Off the record bonnie i know you didn't." He said before leaving

"I'm not letting you go down for this bon." Damon said

"Brighton will be late for school. You should get going." She said
