"Damon who was that?" Bonnie asked

"Elena." He said

"What did she say? You look shook up." She said

"Mother leave now." Damon said escorting his mother out of Bonnie house.

"I'll be back." She said

"Yeah. Whatever." Damon said closing the door.

"Damon,what elena said?" Bonnie repeated

"She said we was never married and she was involved with enzo breaking you and me up. But she never meant for Brighton to be kidnap." He said

"If you were never married to her...who were you married to?" Bonnie asked

"You." Damon said.

Bonnie stared in confusion.

"I can't believe you made Damon think you two were married all this time." Stefan said

"I thought if things would get better between us we would've eventually made it real." Elena said

"You really backed yourself into this deep hole,Elena." He said

"I know and im sorry for that." She said

"Saying you sorry won't fix all the damage your lies cost. All the people you hurted." He scolded

"What do you want me to do,stefan?" She asked

"I don't know if you could fix this." He said

"I don't want you leaving before you could connect with stephanie." She said

"Why?" He asked

"She's your daughter." She confessed

Stefan stared at stephanie and she smiled at him.

"We're married." Bonnie muttered

"I don't know what to believe from her anymore." Damon said downing his bourbon

"We need to talk to someone else about this. The minister that married you and elena should know something." She said

"I'll call him but bonnie if this is proven true. I don't want a divorce." Damon said

Bonnie went upstairs to brighton as damon picked up the phone and called the minister.

"Mommy who was she?" Brighton asked

"That lady was your grandmother but she's gone. She's never coming back into your life my sweet little man. Mommy and daddy going somewhere in a few. You're going too okay?" Bonnie said

Brighton nodded

"What are you talking about now?" Stefan asked

"That night on the football field bleachers. We created this beautiful little angel,stefan." She said

"I don't believe you." He scoffed

"I couldn't believe it myself but i had a DNA test done on her. She's perfectly yours and mine." She said

"I gotta go." Stefan said

"Don't you want to know your daughter?" She shouted

Stefan hurried to his car as he was about to start it he couldn't. Something inside of him wouldn't allow him to turn on the engine.

Damon and Bonnie arrived with brighton at the city hall. "Hey we're looking for the minister that married me and elena gilbert."Damon asked

"Do you know his name?" The secretary asked

"His name was Edward i think." Damon said

"It was Edwin. Edwin Person." Bonnie said

"What's your name again?" She asked

"Damon Salvatore." He said

The secretary went to get Edwin and he escorted Damon and Bonnie to his office. "There were alot of couples marrying that day." Edwin said

"Do you have our original marriage license?" Damon asked

"It should be here in this file." Edwin said

"Daddy." Brighton said

"What's wrong buddy?" Damon asked

"Mommy." He said

"It's okay sweetie." She said

"My vision ain't that clear as it use to be." Edwin admitted putting on his glasses as he got the license. "It says Bonnie Bennett and Damon Salvatore. Oh my." He scoffed realizing his mix up.
