Chapter 77

Damon and Bonnie arrived with Brighton at the cabin. Bonnie put him down and he begin running around. "Slow down my little sunshine." She said

"Daddy look." He said

"You're becoming a real chip off the block son." Damon said smiling

"Dont encourage him, damon, he could hurt himself if he doesn't be careful." Bonnie said

"I think he's almost ready to experience his whole power of being half and half of the best of both worlds babe." Damon said grinding then kissed her.

"You better slow down before you experience more than him running around here." She said

"Only if it means i get you to catch." He teased.

"Awe." She said giggling then putting her hands around on his neck.

They kissed then brighton interrupted by tugging onto them."Swim now." He said

"Okay go put on your swimming trunks and bring me your turtle fins." Bonnie said

Brighton ran upstairs to get his swimming thing's. Bonnie became dizzy.

"Are you up for taking him outside?" Damon asked

"Yeah im fine. I just became a little light headed." Bonnie said

"Maybe i can take him hiking instead while you rest some bon." Damon said

"He came to swim and i know how excited he is damon." She retorted

"Thing's changed. He would be excited hiking too. I promise." He said lifting her up then taking her to their room.

"He's probably going to be disappointed at me." She said

"He's a good boy. He will understand mommy needs some rest. You were up packing last night and making sure were we prepared for this family outing." He retorted

"You really are a good man,damon." She said

"I have your trust in me. I won't let you down." He said

"Trusting you never been a huge problem. It was trusting that i meant more to you than just another girl friend." She said

"I love you...now get some rest." He said then kissed her and left

Bonnie smiled then closed her eyes.

"Son,your mother can't take you swimming but i can show you some pretty cool thing's about the nature." Damon said

"Okay." Brighton said

"Let's change then gather some stuff. You will not be disappointed." Damon said smiling

Stefan arrived outside of Caroline  house. Caroline was sitting on her porch. "Is it safe to assume we can talk?" He asked

Caroline nodded and Stefan joined her. "I was thinking about you and i try some times to figure out what went wrong." She said

"If i could apologize a hundred times i feel like that wouldn't be enough. I hurted you..i hurted us and no sorry could change that." He said

"I believed in us but i always knew you never stopped loving Elena. I wish you weren't coward enough to admit that to yourself then maybe you could've been honest with me,Stefan." She said

"You're getting married." He said

"Yes to klaus." She said

"You don't love him. I know i don't have any right to say it but it's true." He said

"You're a fine one to talk about what's true or not." She scoffed

"I wasn't being honest with myself,you shouldn't make my mistake." He said
