A Place To Belong

  *** Mia's pov ***

No. 5 privet drive this is the place where I live but its not my home. You may get confused by my statement but that's the truth because home is a place where we have people that loves us but here  "I live" because they don't love me and considers me as a burden.

  I have to do all those chores they give me and in my spare time, I read my all time favourite book Cinderella where she has to do all those household chores and needless to say she has to tolerate her step sisters and her step mother's tantrums all day long but everything changes once she meet her fairy godmother and by the end everything is just perfect .

I know you may think that I am being silly but I always believe in magic.

Hopefully, I have the same life like a fairytale with a happily ever after ending.

  Whatever!!

But the reality is something else, where I am struck with my froster mother and her precious daughter.

They treat me badly and call me 'weird' but believe me I have seen people mean than my foster mother and they are the Dursley's, because here my foster mother treat me badly but the Dursley's treat their nephew their own flesh worse.

But how do I know all this? Because we have been friends for years.

First of all me and Harry have a lot of similarities because we both have worst people to be called as our family, next people call us weird and by the word "people" I mean his cousin Dudley and my dearest step sister Kyla, we get bullied by our own cousin/sister and the most important thing is that we have identical scars weird, isn't?.

We both have identical lighting bolt scar but he has the scar on his forehead while mine is on my wrist.

Enough of my rant...right now I have to visit the Dursley's because my dearest foster mother ( note the sarcasm) has to leave to a important event in Ireland along with her daughter so it's most probably like I have to stay at the Dursley's for a day or two which they accepted​ instantly.

  Did I ever told you that the dumb Dudley has a crush on me and it makes me little bit tensed to stay with them atleast Harry will be there for me.

****** Harry's pov ******

I have been cleaning all those ceramic utensils which are already clean and polished.

But why?

Seriously, I don't even  know and  I am  not bothered to ask my aunt, it's better not to be involved in a problem early in the morning, you see it won't be a good start for a day.

I always had a thought whether my aunt and uncle has OCD because they keep on asking me to clean anything they want even, if it is crystal clean already.

But today all those cleaning is taking place because Mia is visiting our house and she may even stay for a day or two.

It's pretty obvious they like her.

I think they know about the little crush of their Dudleykins but they are less bothered by the fact that she is my friend.

We have been friends from the day I don't even remember, because we have been friends for years and she is the one that I know truly care for me.

Even though she carries a smile in her face I know all her problems. Infact both of us are sailing in the same boat.

All that we want is just a place which we can call as our own and to be surrounded by our​ loved one who truly care about us.

Is it a wrong thing to ask?

Anyway my train of thoughts​ came to an end by the calling bell sound and I have been asked to attend it.

Because my sweetest cousin is whining like a 5 year old for getting  lesser number of gifts.

  Honestly, I don't even get any gifts but I am used to it. I rushed to open the door hoping it's will be Mia. Atleast there is a good thing in this horrible day.
