"Not drunk enough... Answer me."

"Do I have to?"

"It's not like you have a choice..."

"We were both in love with Christine. But she chose him. And he... he deprived her from both of us. I wanted to end him. When he was unconscious on the hospital bed... It would be so easy to just... kill him."

"But instead you took care of him..."

" I wanted him to live. I wanted him to feel the pain he had caused me... It was no act of mercy Valeria."

"It doesn't matter. You chose the right way." I fall on him unable to support myself.

"How could he leave you...?" He placed a lock of hair behind my ear and looked deeply into my eyes.

"I'm not good enough."

"You? You're his savior, angel!"

"I'm no angel. Angels aren't a mess like me."

"You have no idea Val..."

"I'm thirsty!" I stood up and trying to make my way to the kitchen. I started drinking water directly through the faucet. "Ah much bet-" I could feel his arms wrapping around my waist supporting me just before I started succumbing to gravity.

"You need some rest S."

"Nah I'm fine!" I tried walking back to the couch but of course the earth wasn't that flat anymore making me lose my step again.

"Easy there!" Like a newly gained habit of his, he picked me up and moved towards the couch. I placed my face into the curve of his neck as he leaned towards the couch to leave me.

"No..." I groaned as I held him firmly.

"I'm not going anywhere princess," He smiled softly as he laid me down.

I looked deeply into his eyes, grabbing his forearm as he moved away from me. He looked at me confused, wondering what I was doing. I pulled him on top of me, kissing him hard. I puledl him from his shirt as I tried to unbutton it madly. He groaned loudly while he tried to resist my kiss.

 "No, Val. Not like this..."

"Why not?" I whispered barely an inch away from his lips. "I thought you wanted me?"

"I do. You can't even imagine how badly I want to make you mine..."

"Then why don't you?"

"Because you'll regret this when you're sober."

"Why do you care Colt?"

"Please have some rest S." He turned his face away as if he was searching for a way out. "I have to go." He suddenly stood up and maked a stride towards the door before I held him back in despair.

"Please, don't leave. All I need is a hug."

"I don't know. We shouldn't."

"I won't do anything inappropriate, I promise."

"You're the one who promises? That's new!" He laughs as he joined me on the couch.

"I'm not that innocent person you think I am Colt."

"No matter what you do, you'll never be able to compete with the Colt duo."

"Possibly. I need to know everything about your past."

"Right now you need to take a nap."

"I can't. I need to know where he is..."

"Of course you do."
