Three days later
*Ashley's POV*

Today is the day I've been dreading the most. Today is the day that Troian's sister Madison Fischer is heading back to Arizona which means that Daxton is too. I haven't told Everleigh that this is probably the last time she will see Daxton for a while, but I'm going to on the ride to Troian's house. Troian, being the kind spirited person she is, decided to invite the cast and her family over for a farewell party for her sister.

"Are you ready to head out Ev?" I ask, applying a thick coat of cherry bomb lipstick.

"Yeah. Mommy, I can't wait to see Dax!" Everleigh says excitedly. I sigh.

"I know you are punkin." I say a little quieter than normal. Saying goodbye is going to break her little heart. Everleigh runs into my bathroom.

"When can we see him?" Everleigh asks, her pigtails bouncing along with her feet.

"Pretty soon Ev." I say, standing back to admire myself in the mirror. Then I place the lipstick back in my bag, and tuck it in the cupboard.

"Lets go." I say, taking Everleigh's hand in mine.

Today Everleigh is wearing a black sundress with a leather braided belt and matching ankle boots. I am wearing a similar black lace sundress with a leather braided belt and matching ankle boots. We got them as a gift for christmas from my parents last year. Matching is kind of our thing. Almost all of our clothes are matching! Everleigh's likey little mini me and we love to match!

I buckle Everleigh into her car seat and roll the car out of the driveway.

"Mommy, may I pwease listen to music?" Everleigh asks sweetly. I sigh.

"No, I'm sorry Ev. I need to talk about something important with you."

Everleigh looks puzzled. "Impowtant?" I nod.

"Ever, you and Dax are really good friends, I know that and that's why this is so hard for me to tell you." Tears fill my eyes just thinking about how I'm going to break Everleigh's little heart.

"Troian's sister is Daxton's mom, and she came up here for a vacation. Kind of like when we went to Hawaii. But, vacations don't last forever and eventually you have to go back home to your house." I turn to Everleigh. "Does that make sense?"

"Yep!" Everleigh says excitedly. I don't think she gets it yet.

"Ev honey, Dax was here on vacation. His real home is in Arizona, which means that it's time for Daxton to go home today."

Everleigh's face falls. "Dax is going home today?" her chin quivers. I nod.

"But-but- He's my fwiend!" Everleigh cries. My heart aches.

"I know he is, but you can make other friends! Like Macy down the street, or Ava, or Phoenix is your friend!"

"But Dax is my bestest fwiend ever!" Everleigh says, her lip puckers and a tear slides down her cheek. "I don't want him to weave."

I srop at a red light and turn towards Ev who is now crying quietly. I rub her knee with my hand.

"I know baby, it will be ok. Dax will visit often, and Madison said we can visit them anytime too! Plus you still get to see him today!" I say, trying to cheer her up.

Everleigh stops crying and runs her eyes. "Mommy, I want to get a present for Dax for being my bestest fwiend ever." she says, mustering up the biggest smile she could. I think about it for a moment. We are a little early, but if we stop we would wind up a few minutes late... I finally decide that my daughter is way more important than making it on time, and Everleigh's generous heart says the same.
