"Princess, wake up! You'll be late for your first day of schoo," saad ni kuya habang niyuyugyog niya ako para magising. Taray 'di ba? Ang aga agang pa-earthquake ang ginamit panggising sa akin.
I groaned and turned my back to where the voice was coming from. Tinakpan ko pa yung ulo ko ng nakuhang unan to lessen the noise. "Give me a few minutes more, kuya. Let me just finish this dream."
But apparently, I could no longer finish my dream. Nawala na siya dahil sa ginawang pagyugyog niyo ni kuya and boy was I disappointed! Itong si kuya kasi eh! I was just dreaming about the magnificent Zayn Malik at kinakasal na kami sa panaginip ko! To emphasize, I am getting married to the handsome Zayn Malik but when it was the time na hahalikan niya na ako to end the wedding, niyugyog naman ako ni kuya and poof! Nawala yung kasal, nawala yung panaginip. Very nice, right? Not.
"No! Tatayo ka o kakaladkarin kita pababa? Anong oras na at alam mong matagal ka maligo, humihingi ka pa ng extension! Gising na!"
No choice. I do not want naman na makaladkad ako nitong masungit kong kuya this early kaya tumayo na lang ako. I huffed in annoyance at dumiretso na sa rest room nitong room ko so that I could start preparing. Naiinis lang talaga ako dito kay kuya ko kasi ang sweet kagabi tapos ngayon naman tila siya babaeng may PMS. Ang over ng hot flashed niya! Sana lang talaga ay matuloy mamaya yung panaginip ko mamaya para at least, kahit sa panaginip, I got to marry my Zayn.
I took time in getting myself ready and that is normal. Inaabot ako ng isa't kalahating oras to take a bath, do all my skin care routines from head to toe, and get dressed up. Sabi ko nga, maarte talaga ako and I am very maarte in terms of my body because I will not forever look like this so might as well take extra care for it! Hindi forever na soft, supple and smooth yung balat ko so I really have to take much effort to maintain it. Hindi tayo forever bata, people, so while we are young let's invest so that we will like what we will see in the mirror 2 or 3 decades from now.
After getting done with preparing myself to school, dumiretso na ako pababa para kumain muna akong breakfast bago pumasok. Pababa na ako noong makita kong nakabihis na for work ang Mom. Ang aga naman nitong pumasok ni Mom, nasa kaniya kaya yung susi ng buong law firm nila para umalis ng ganito kaaga?
"Good that you're up, princess. Kumain ka na and bilisan mo so that hindi ka malate. Kuya mo ang maghahatid sa'yo sa school because I have to get to the office early," sabi ni Mom as she kisses me on the cheek. I stood still for a few seconds dahil ninamnam ko yung pabango ni Mom which is my all time favorite scent.
You know, I've been a bad human being. Hindi ko pa pala naipapakilala sa inyo ang members of my family! Anyways, Kurt Michael Esguerra ang pangalan ni kuya and he's taking up AB European Languages and he majors the love language, French. Amazing right? Nagpapaturo nga ako sa kaniya sometimes eh. Though the only French phrase I know is "Je suis magnifique" which means I am gorgeous. And no, you don't have the right to contest.
Attorney Angel Esguerra naman ang pangalan ni Mom. Yes, attorney. She's a woman practicing law and she's good at practicing it. Isa rin siya sa may-ari ng law firm where she works and the firm is considered the best firm in the country with a high rate of cases won. Mom is the creme de le creme of lawyers kaya kapag may problema kayo sa batas, which I hope would not involve killing or stealing, siya lapitan ninyo and for sure, she'll know what to do to get you out of trouble.
Clark Esguerra naman ang name ni Dad. He owns a company that has branches around the globe. Erm, can we not talk about him? You see, he stands against my sexuality. He now desperately tries to forget na may isa pa syang anak after kuya. Sad right? It is indeed sad but I just learned to live with it and not think much, matagal na rin naman since nakasama namin siya since sobrang busy niya in making his empire work.
