"Since this is our last school day for this year, hindi na tayo mag-kaklase." naka-ngiting pagpapaalam sa amin ni Ma'am.
The class erupted in cheers. Syempre naman, last school day of the year tapos walang gagawin is just so awesome!
Hinintay muna ni Ma'am na tumahimik kami bago nag-patuloy sa sinasabi n'ya. "Tapos na rin naman tayo sa preparations for our Christmas party tomorrow kaya I thought of a great way to spend our day."
"Paano naman po iyon Ma'am?" I heard April asked.
"Why don't we get to know more the stars of our booth nung last school fair?"
Uh oh. I just have this hunch na this involves me, Nich and beks. Feel na feel ko lang.
"'Di ko gets ma'am.. Pa-explain pa nga po." sabi ni Mark.
"I mean, yes, nakakasama natin sila, nakakausap, nakakatawanan, but do we really know them? And yes, I am pertaining to our transferees this year, sina Nichell Quiambao, Trisha Ybanez and Madison Alexis Esguerra."
Ugh. I knew it! Hayy. This is extremely weird!
"Do we really need to do that? I mean, I don't know, I find you guys questioning the three of us very very freaky." hesitation was very clear in Nich's question.
"You can choose not to answer the questions that makes you uncomfortable, if that's what you like." pamimilit sa'min ni Ma'am.
This time, ako naman yung nag-bigay ng aking dissenting opinion. "Kasi Ma'am, nakaka-conscious lang s'ya for us. Tsaka kasi parang hindi na rin po kailangan, parang kilala na po kasi kami nila."
"On the contrary, hindi nga namin alam kahit yung favorite color n'yong tatlo...." biglaang sabi ni Mikay. "So I say let's push the idea."
Pagkasabi nun ni Mikay ay nag-sunod sunod sa pag-sang ayon sa ideya ni Ma'am yung mga classmates namin. This is annoying me, I swear.
"See guys? There's clamour for information about the three of you kaya please, pumayag na kayo. I assure you your safety sa mga i-shshare niyo pati na ang confidentiality ng inyong i-shshare." pamimilit sa'ming lalo ni Ma'am.
"Sino po bang may sabi na hindi ako pumapayag? I'm fine with the idea." pag-sagot ni Alexis.
Napa-lingon kaming dalawa ni Nich kay Alexis. Is he serious with that? How dare this gay guy, napaka-unexpected and weird. Mygosh!
Abot rooftop ang ngiti ni Ma'am nung pumayag si Alexis. Sa sobrang saya niya, in-offer niya yung teacher's seat niya para upuan ni Alexis duon sa harap, ayos lang daw sa kanya kasi yung naka-tayo. Kalurks!
"You really are serious about this huh?" tanong ni Nich kay Alexis.
