"You will be fine here princess, right?" tanong ni Mom sa akin for like the nth time now.
Naandito kasi ako ngayon sa tapat ng bahay ng mga Quiambao, sa tapat ng bahay ni Nich.
Why am I here? Mom's having the living room, the dining hall and the garden refurbished. They're setting the house up for the neon-themed party that we'll throw.
So since naging isang malaking construction site ang aming ground floor, we needed to have ALL our things sent to the storage facility just until matapos yung refurbishing ng ground floor.
Ang mga house helps ay binigyan muna ng 1week day-off para makapagpahinga sila ahead of time. They'll be very busy kasi as the day of the party gets nearer.
Si Manang din ay pinagpapahinga rin sana namin, she'll be the head kasi of everything sa kitchen. Kaya lang hindi na daw nya kailangang magpahinga, gustong gusto nya daw kasing tumulong para sa birthday ko. Aww. Isn't she sweet? That's why I really love Manang eh.
Mom naman decided to stay at Kuya's condominium unit for awhile. May direct route naman daw yung office nila from the condo pati gusto daw nya bantayan si Kuya from the possible naughty doings nya.
Ako nga duon din dapat sa unit ni Kuya muna. Kaya lang kasi super uber kaduper malayo sa school yung condo. Ayaw ko namang gumising ng super early everyday just to travel. Kaya ayun, I'll be staying at Nich's.
"Mom, for the nth time, I'll be fine here. Andito naman si Tita Scarlet eh." my answer.
Wala na ring nagawa si Mom, we had no choice. "Fine. But we'll go on vacation sa term break nyo ha?"
Speaking of term break, there's only 5 school days left before the first term ends. It is now the 22nd of October and the last day for the first term is on the 28th.
"Sure Mom. Erm wait, aren't you going to say hi to Tita Scarlet?" I asked Mom.
Kiniss ako ni Mom sa cheeks bago sya tumabi sa car door. "I would love to princess but I have to discuss things with the interior designer, the landscaper, and the head of construction pa eh."
"Oh, I see. Well then, take care Mom. See you soon!" I told Mom.
Tuluyan ng pumasok sa kotse nya si Mom. Pinaandar nya na yung engine pero bago sya tuluyang umalis ay nginitian muna nya ako sabay bigay ng flying kiss. Isn't that cute? Hahaha
Tuluyan na akong pumasok sa sprawling mansion ng mga Ybañez matapos makaalis ni Mom. This'll be exciting. Hihi
I greeted Tita Scarlet warmly nung makita ko sya sa living room nila.
"So dahling, are you ready? We'll be having tremendous fu-uhn while you are here." bati ni Tita sa'kin.
