"My dear agony, won't you let me go?" You were currently on the couch at Rick's, having spent the night. Rick was sitting in Jerry's chair, watching tv when you sat up and grabbed the sides of your head. "Alright," you rubbed your temples, "I know I told you not to get shit-faced, but why the hell didn't I tell me not to? What the fuck happened last night? I remember... kids, and lots of beer, but... da fuck else happened?"

Noticeably, Rick shifted in the seat, his eyes never leaving the tv. "Duuuude, you're ignoring meeee." You folded your arms and pouted before standing and walking to the kitchen. "Where has everybody been?"

"Uh," Rick wandered into the kitchen behind you, "it's only noon, so eugh so they're probably all passed out still." You nodded in understanding before grabbing an apple. "Y'all always have apples. Why nothing else? Kinda boring, y'know?" You laughed before taking a bite, noticing Rick staring at you. "Que?" You raised a brow, speaking around the apple.

"N-Nothin'," Rick rubbed the back of his neck and looked away. You shrugged, pulling your phone out and checking your notifications.

*MORTY*
We just wanted to let you know we'll probably be back around 6 tonight. We all met up and went elsewhere.

"Rude." You stared down at your phone before shoving it back in your pocket. "They're not getting back until 6 apparently." Rick sighed and rolled his eyes. "You are the biggest drama queen I've ever met." You took another bite of the apple before throwing it away. "What's the plan for today, cap'n?" You sat at the kitchen table, playing with your phone case and waiting for an answer.

Rick walked over and stood, leaning against the wall, behind you. "Nothing, really." You looked back to find him staring off into space, zoning out. Quickly, you poked him in the belly, "You're acting funny today." Rick shrugged and waved it off, "I'm just tired. Long night."

"What all happened last night, anyway?" You spun in your chair, your whole body facing Rick now. Rick shifted, shoving his hands in his pockets, and light pink dusted his cheeks. He cleared his throat, "Just, uh, p-passed out candy while you, uh, g-got drunk." You squinted at him, giving Rick your most comedic suspicious look, "If you're lying, I got enough 'sperience to know, my good man." You wagged a finger accusingly before settling back, laughing slightly.

"Yea," Rick chuckled lightly. The room was silent again for a moment.

"Hey, uh," Rick walked over to you, leaning on the table, "do you wanna go on an adventure?" You looked over, finding him staring again. "Where to?"

He shrugged, "I dunno. Anywhere you eugh wanna go?" You gave him a confused look with a touch of suspicion, "Well, ye- why?" You asked, crossing your arms and leaning back in your chair. Rick looked a bit guilty, "Uh, y-y'know, just thought maybe you'd wanna offer up a eugh place to go this time. You got somewhere in mind?"

You shrugged, leaning forward and resting your chin on your fist, "Well, y'know, ever since... ever since I was 17," you cleared your throat, "I wanted to, uh, see the northern lights. From space. Another broken promise. But it's around that time of year." You looked down at the table. Rick stood, no longer leaning on the surface, "We can do that."

You looked up, slack jawed and wide eyed, "Are you serious?!" He nodded, smiling, "Sure, kid." You jumped up from the seat, grinning, "When can we go?"

Rick shrugged, "I mean, we could go later, when it's darker out. For now, I guess just do whatever until then." You squealed, dancing in a circle, "This is awesome!" Rick was grinning, laughing lightly at the display.
