When you had finished breakfast, you followed Rick to the garage, both of you beginning a new project.

Currently, you were sitting in your personal desk chair, halfway through building another Neutrino bomb. According to Rick, only so many individuals on one planet can curse him before he's had enough. He meant actual curses, too, having had to go through and get them removed. So, as you built the most destructive device you've witnessed, you couldn't suppress the laughter as Rick recalled having gone through a day as a hermaphrodite. "Most disturbing eugh moment of my life, kid." You shook your head and held the amplifier down as Rick soldered it in place carefully.

It didn't take either of you fairly long to complete the project, finding the completed bomb now sitting on the desk. You both rose from your chairs cautiously and slipped into your lab coats. Rick walked to the cruiser while you carefully grabbed the bomb, making absolutely certain you weren't anywhere near the activation button. Slowly, you climbed into your seat and shut the door. "Alright, you eugh know what to do when we get there." You nodded as Rick took off to the sky.

Roughly ten minutes into the trip, Rick guided the cruiser directly above a dull planet. The surface appeared black, small gray patches of various shades peppered the land as pristine, white clouds drifted above. Rick leaned over and lowered the window for you before you held your hands out the window, pressed the blue activation button, and watched the bomb tumble down. You raised your window as Rick backed the cruiser up significantly.

You stared intently as the bomb drifted down in the same way it had on your very first day, slowly becoming a glowing mass before it made contact with the planet's surface. It only rested for a total of three minutes before the planet disappeared in a matter of seconds, completely obliterated by the highly-concentrated Neutrinos.

"Like many things, that was still as exciting as the first time." You laughed with Rick as you both sat and stared at the vast expanse before you. After a minute, Rick began guiding the ship back home and you watched the now-empty space in the mirror. "Honestly, that kinda power is just... I dunno, I would say erotic. Don't know what you would say, but it's definitely something."

"Are you eugh sure I'm the weird one?" Rick questioned. "I'm pretty sure we're almost even, boss." Rick nodded thoughtfully, agreeing silently.

During the ten minute trip home, you crossed your legs, hoping he wouldn't catch on to the fact that it really did excite you. Not that it was embarrassing for you or anything, you just didn't know how he would react to it. When you finally made it home, you pulled your lab coat around you in a way that you hoped wasn't too awfully suspicious. But, of course, Rick is a genius.

"Again, you called eugh me the weird one?" Rick chuckled as he passed you, walking into the house. You followed after, "You didn't have this figured out on day one? Really? Were you that focused on me calling you sir and sitting in your lap?" It was now Rick's turn to get flustered before you crossed your arms and stuck your tongue out triumphantly.  "You are still the weird one," you remarked with as much sass as you could muster.

Rick pouted as he sat on the couch, only to be interrupted by you as you followed after him. You sat next to him, watching as he turned his head to the side as you had the night before. "Heyyy," you whined, poking his arm. He shook his head, "Mm-mm." He was as determined as you had been.

Sighing heavily, you stood up, slipping out of your lab coat and throwing it onto Jerry's chair before you stood in front of Rick. You kicked his foot lightly, "Ehhhhh." Rick was resilient as he continued to pout. You would have been laughing by now if you weren't still a little flustered from the trip. "Duuuuude, what's wrong?" You whined yet again, trying to get his attention as he had gotten your last night.

You kicked his foot lightly again, still getting no response. You rolled your eyes and crawled back up onto the couch, moving and situating yourself in his lap. "Heyyy," you poked his cheek. "Attention meee."

Huffing, you crossed your arms and stared, waiting for him to give you some response. His arms remained crossed over his chest and his head was still turned to the side. You huffed again, though you weren't frustrated in the slightest. You leaned forward and pecked his cheek, poking his arms when you pulled away, "Come ooon." Rick smiled slightly, peering at you before settling back into his pout.

You were running out of options at this point. This man was proving himself to be significantly more stubborn that you. You poked him a few times, whining as you did so, and watched him continue pouting. At this point, you had very few options left.

Sitting back, you sighed and tried to come up with a way to make him stop acting like such a child. As you were both pouting, the family walked through the front door, returning from wherever it was they had gone. Beth wandered into the living room, pausing when she saw you both. "Uh, what's up, guys?"

You huffed and pointed at Rick, still in his lap, "He's being a child." Beth sighed, laughing slightly, "Dad, are you being a really big kid right now?" Rick turned and faced Beth, "No." You gaped, "Really?!" He didn't answer you. Beth shook her head and grabbed Monopoly, "If you want, we're having a game night." You shook your head, "No, thanks." Beth shrugged and wandered off, leaving you to grumble while Rick returned to pouting. "That was mean," you muttered.

After a few minutes, laughter erupted from the other room and you sighed, still trying to figure out what would make Rick stop acting so childish. You pondered for a quick moment before you smiled.

You leaned over to whisper in his ear, not wanting anybody else to pick up on it. "If you stop acting like a child, Rick," you paused to smile in triumph over being able to say his name, "we'll go upstairs, just you and me."

Slowly, he turned to face you. His eyes were wide in shock but filled with suspicion. You laughed, "I'm not playing." Sitting up straight, you smiled and pecked him on the lips, "I'm ready."

You moved and sat on your haunches beside him, "But if you're gonna be childish.." You trailed off. His expression turned slightly worried before it went serious. "Alright, alright, alright, fine."

"Are you serious? That's all it takes to get you going?" You giggled, "Still easily excitable." With a wide grin, you stood from the couch and grabbed his hand, "Come on, Rick." His name felt more comfortable for you to say now, rolling easily off the tongue.

Grinning, he stood and followed you through the living room and up the stairs. "You really never cease to amaze me, kid."
