The next morning, you woke to soft laughter. When you pried your eyes open, you saw Summer standing above you, her phone out and the camera facing your supposed-to-be sleeping form.
"Sorry, (Y/N)," Summer whispered. "I'll send them to you later. Gotta go to school." She giggled, "Just came in to see if you were still here. See you later!" She waved before tiptoeing out of the room. You heard her continue giggling as she ran down the stairs, her footsteps fairly loud. You grumbled something unintelligible, even to your own ears, and shifted, throwing your leg back over Rick's.
You felt him stir beneath you, grumbling, "Damn kids need to stay outta my room." You gave him a tired smile when you looked up to find him glancing over at you. "Need to work on their walking skills, too," you muttered. "Sound like a herd of elephants."
You settled back onto Rick, laying your head down again. After a minute, you groaned in slight anger, "Now I'm woke." You growled lightly, making Rick chuckle. "I don't think you need a cat. You act like one as it is. Next time you're sick," he paused to yawn, "just growl like that." He rubbed your back lightly and you smiled, mimicking a cats purr as he did so. He laughed as he continued to lightly rub your back, delicately dragging his fingertips along your spine.
"We should probably get up," you muttered, not really wanting to make him stop rubbing your back. "Probably, but I'm still waking up." You nodded slowly, still laying on him, "Agreed. Few more minutes."
After those few minutes passed rather quickly, you slowly sat up, feeling Rick pull his arms off you. "Eventually those guys are gonna get the wrong idea," you chuckled as you sat up on the edge of his bed, stretching your arms above your head. "Probably." Rick agreed. You stood and made your way to the door, telling Rick you were using the restroom when he'd asked.
When you finished and made your way back to his room, you knocked before opening the door, "Didn't wanna walk in on you changing. Scare you and make you fall and all that," you wandered in and grabbed your phone. He was still sitting on his bed, stretching his arms behind his back as he did so. You watched the slight muscles in his back shift as he did so before glancing back down at your phone to find a few pictures from Summer. Apparently she took them from different angles before you woke up.
"You know," you showed Rick the photos, "anybody else's boss would be hella weirded out." Rick shook his head, rolling his eyes once you pulled the phone away, "Any boss's companion wouldn't give any way to get photos like that. I guess we're even." You looked up thoughtfully before nodding in agreement.
You scrolled through your notifications, clearing them all out before standing once more. "I'ma go get my happy ass in my day clothes." You walked out of Rick's room and made your way downstairs, grabbed your clothes, and ran back upstairs, taking over the bathroom momentarily as you changed into your jeans and the same shirt you wore to the party once upon a time, tilting your head to read the words 'If You Turn Your Head to Read This, You Owe Me a Blow Job'. You chuckled lowly at the thought of Rick reading it and obeying without hesitation, calming down before you exited the bathroom.
You wound up walking through the entire house before you found him in the garage, tinkering away. "Took you long enough," he smirked, soldering a piece onto what looked like a new part for the cruiser. "Woulda been nice if I'd been told I'd be hunting you down beforehand," you retorted, sticking your tongue out and folding your arms childishly. Rick just rolled his eyes and walked over to the cruiser, crawling beneath it and attaching the part before he crawled back out. "Whatcha doooin'?" You questioned, tapping his foot as he stood.
