My fingers clasp around a mug of hot white chocolate and my eyes settle on the snowflakes running everywhere on outside.As usual I'm waiting for Layla who is being late.Her hot chocolate is sitting across the table waiting for her.Phone buzzes and snaps me out of my thoughts.

Layla:

''Stuck in traffic.I'll be there soon''

I smile to myself and type her back:

''Liar,liar,pants on fire.You are with Aaron and you forgot,aren't you?''

Layla:

''Yeah,but I'm on my way.I swear!''

Me:

''Stay in bed love.I'm going home.I love you''

Layla:

"Not mad?''

Me:

''Seriously? Come on''

Layla:

''Okay,okay.I love you too.Sorry''

I read her message and decide not to disturb her anymore.Drinking my hot chocolate I text Shawn.

Me:

''You up?''

I take a look at my watch and think to myself that at ten a.m. there is no way he is up.To my surprise my phone buzzes right after.

Mendes:

"Now yes''

Me:

''Sorry for waking you up''

Mendes:

''You'll need to make up for it''

Me:

''I'll see what I can do''

Mendes:

''Yeah,you should''

Mendes:

''Did something happen or what?''

Me:

''No..I just wanted to see if you wanted to hang out''

He leaves me on read.I pay the bill and go outside on the parking lot.I throw my bag inside the car and hop inside.Engine starts and I drive off.In the back of my mind I know he'll come,but still I'm on the verge to go and pick him up.I won't,just for the fun.

I close the doors behind me and take my boots off.As I enter the kitchen I feel something on my shoulder.My screams fill the room.Instead of a expected serial killer I see Shawn in maroon colored hoodie with his morning fluffy hair smiling at me.

''You fucking idiot! My heart stopped'',I yell at Shawn who is of course laughing.

''Of course you have the key,because why not?'',I roll my eyes.
