Chapter 3

I slowly opened my eyes and then let out painful scream,that was my protest.I wanted to sleep, not to go to school.But I guess I have to.I got ready and went downstairs.Oh look,my parents had already gone to work.I found a note on refrigerator:

Love,we are on work already,if you want to eat you have everything in here.Hope you'll have nice first day of school.Let us know how it was when you come home.
                                                                                                                             With love,mum and dad.

Yeah,I also hope I'll have nice first day of school,but how could that be nice..I skipped breakfast,just drank a tea,scrolled on my phone and it was time to get going.Grabbed my bag full of new notebooks and headed out.My anxiety grew as I got closer to school.I was supposed to go to headmaster and there I'll have small talk with him,get my schedule and school tour I guess.

Wow,school was full by the time I had arrived.Everyone was greeting each other,hugging and talking.I just went pass them and got in.I was looking literally everywhere but not in front of me,of course I stumbled upon someone.
''Watch out!'',deep male voice shouted and I felt strong,large hands on my shoulders.
''I'm really sorry,I just headed to headmaster,do you know where it is?'',I replied.
I looked that person in face.His chestnut brown eyes were staring in mine,then he just looked me up and down.I felt really uncomfortable.
He raised his eyebrow and said: ''Huh,someone is a bad girl? First day here and newbie has already been bad.Just like my taste,hm.''
I rolled my eyes at him,pushed him away and started walking away from that ass.

''Don't you ever roll your eyes again at me,Newbie!'',I heard him shouting at me.

I turned around and replied: ''Can't tell me what to do and it's Arya not Newbie,asshole!''.
I hated swearing but when someone plays with my patience then I do swear.Wow,five minutes in this school and I was irritated af.

''Bet I can.To be exact,bet I can make you do what ever I want you to do'',I heard him STILL talking to me.
It was enough,so I just flipped him off.He looked stunned,like he hasn't been flipped off ever before.

Finally I found headmasters office,I got in and I was greeted by nice middle-aged woman.She introduced me to headmaster and his office.Finally someone kind and nice.He gave me my schedule and introduced me to a girl that will tour me through school.Her name was Layla.

''So we have same classes,fortunatelly!'',she said to me.
I replied: ''Yes,oh my God,I'm so happy because of that.You are my first friend here.''
''Hahaha,aww.I'm really glad that I am.'',Layla said to me.

She showed me school and we talked about professors and other students.I literally got to know everyone without actually meeting them,because of Layla.She explained to me that as much as we wanted we can't sit together because they have fixed sitting plan from last year and I shall be seated alone or with someone who sits alone.Well,I guess I have to meet more people.After school tour,we went to her locker and then to mine so I could leave my stuff there.Then something got on my mind.That boy I stumbled upon was so familiar to me.Then it ringed a bell,HE WAS THE BOY I SAW YESTERDAY IN THAT HOUSE.

Layla snapped me out of my thoughts: ''Let's go slowly towards the english classroom,soon the class will start''.

I took my notebook and books that were waiting for me in my locker and we slowly walked to classroom.Then I saw him walking toward us.

''Layla,who is this boy walking toward us?'',I asked maybe a little bit to serious.

''Oh..you don't actually want to know.That is Shawn Mendes.He is that ''bad boy'' who drinks,smokes and fucks every living being with vagina.Such a fuckboy and asshole too.'',she replied irritated.

I just stared at her blankly.

''What? Did he do something to you? I need to be honest,he is the hottest guy here and has charm and he actually managed to get every girl he wanted.But he is picky tho.'',she continued.

''No,he did not,I just stumbled upon him this mor-'',in that moment he went past us,our eyes met and I rolled my eyes again at him,just because I can, ''-ning.He was quite an ass to me.Wait a minute you say he is fucking every living being and then that he is picky,isn't that a paradox?'',I said.

''Well,I wasn't thinking literally.He just gets every girl he wants and every girl wants him.He has been with a lot of girls,but the point is he uses them and then nothing.And was he just preying on you?'',she asked me squinting her eyes which made me laugh like an idiot.

I was really glad I made friends with a person like Layla,we clicked immediately.

''No,he wasn't.I just flipped him off and maybe that made him angry so that's why he looked at me like that...'',I explained.

''You flipped Shawn what? OFF? Oh no,you did not! OH MY GOD,you are queen,ily.No one ever did that.He deserved it.'',she freaked out.

''Everyone is actually scared of him,but girls are turned on with his presence.Including me,I'm not gonna lie to you'',she continued.

This day just couldn't get any better.I flipped off,called an asshole and pushed the main bad boy in my school who clearly got me on his deadpool list.

''What if he kills me in some dark corner in this cold and hides my body because I flipped him off?!?!?!?!'',I acted like I was panicking and crying out loud.

Layla laughed and punched me in my shoulder.

''Cmon,stop,he won't.Btw here we are,this is the classroom.",she said still laughing at my little performance.

Just as we walked in the bell rang.I met professor and introduced myself to whole class (that was terrifying as hell) then she seated me where no one was sitting. I sat and put my things on desk and then someone opened the door.

''Oh,look class,mister Mendes decided he would attend the first class of this year.'',professor said quite annoyed.

My heart almost stopped.It was the only one Mendes,Shawn Mendes.I think I'm gonna die today.I looked,with panick in my eyes,towards where Layla was sitting.She just made a gesture that meant  ''wait for a moment''.

''Yeah,yeah,good morning prof. McKlair'',he said to professor.

''Just go and sit where ever it's free,Mendes.I hope this year you'll attend class.'',McKlair cut him off.

I looked around the classroom and I couldn't find any free desk where he could sit.Just when I thought he wouldn't then be in this class,I realised the only free spot was the one beside me,in my desk. My heart skipped a beat in that moment. I saw him coming towards me,looking me in my eyes and not looking away for a split second,then sitting right next to me. My phone vibrated.
One message from Layla💕 :

I forgot to tell you,he has like 3/4 classes with us,let's hope it's less than that.Anyways he doesn't attend many of them,so you are in some way saved too..And usually we sit the same way in every classroom,sometimes we have extra desk or so,but knowing him he will not move and sit alone.I wish you luck...............talk during lunch ofc. 😭😭😭😭😭 xo

I didn't reply,I just looked at her and made puppy face.She smiled at me and then turned around as professor started teaching.

''So,Newbie did you roll your eyes at me again in hallway?'',he asked me while raising his brow at me.

''Wow when I thought this day wouldn't get any better,it just did.'',I thought before I replied to him.

''Yes I did and what are you going to do about it,Mendes or should I call you moron because that name suits you better?'',I cut him off.

My tongue was way faster then my mind and maybe what I said wasn't the smartest decision after all.
