Chapter 55

"I'll tell you but please,please don't tell my parents. I'm ashamed",I plead with them.

"Okay,Arya,just tell us",principal says.

"Recently I,umm,had problems with my boyfriend. I mean nothing big just normal relationship problems. Anyways,he broke up with me yesterday. I was devastated because..umm..you know we were together for a really long time and went through a lot.So,umm..",I take a deep breath.

"Did he hurt you?",nurse asks and my heart starts racing.

"Elizabeth!",principal scolds her.

"No,it's okay. He did not. He would never do that,miss",I say.

"Please,go on Arya",professor says and I nod.

"So,umm,I,oh my god..I did something really stupid. I'm sorry",I look away.

"I found some bottles of alcohol in my basement and drove off to our special place. It's near one lake. I sat there and tasted one bottle out. As being devastated I drank the whole thing really quick. It hit me hard. I tried to stand up and that's the last thing I remember. Next thing I remember is me waking up on the lake. I fell down that little hill above the lake and rolled down hitting my back on the hard ice of the frozen lake. I'm so sorry. I know that was wrong and that I wasn't supposed to be drinking at the age of 18 here and I'm so ashamed. But please don't tell my parents. Please. They will be so disappointed. Please don't tell them",I start sobbing.

I hear them all exhale. I feel warm hand on my shoulder.

"It's okay child. If anything like this happens again I will be obligated to call your parents",principal says.

"We know how excellent you are,so I think I'll be able to close my eyes on this"

"Thank you sir. Thank you so much",I say.

"Go home now and take care.You must rest now",nurse adds and they all agree.

"Thank you. Good bye",I say and exit.

The second I exit the infirmary I let out the breath I was holding in.
I lied.
I lied for him.
I simply could have told them everything. I could,but I didn't. I don't regret it. I still wouldn't tell them the real truth.

I took a bullet for him and from him.

I return back to the locker room and change my clothes.I pick my stuff up and right when I'm about to exit the locker room bell rings and everybody starts rushing in and changing clothes.
I rush out saying my quick goodbyes and avoiding to answer any questions from the girls.
Disappear before somebody notices.Yeah,exactly that somebody.

''I'll have a cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows and a toast,please'',I sit in that same caffe nearby school we all always go to.

I'm starving and I'm not really willing to prepare myself anything at home.I plug my headphones in and play some mellow playlist.

I see waitress approaching my booth with food so I take the headphones off.She places order on the table and I thank her.I continue to scroll down the Instagram completely uninterested and eating my toast which disappears in seconds.I guess I was pretty hungry. I move the plate away and bring the hot chocolate in front of me.As I stir it I hear doors open and that little bell rings.I raise my look and immediately regret doing so.Shawn enters the caffe and walks directly down to my booth.He sits down and I look away from him.

''Go away.Immediately'',I say.

''Arya'',he starts and my everything aches from him calling my name.
