It had been four days since Kerrie had giving me Sophie's cell number and I still hadn't plucked up the courage to text her, hell what would I even say. Tonight I was playing in Bangor, Maine and I was looking forward to it. My phone pinged a text it was from a girl I hooked up with last time I was in town, Lauren I think her name was but I saved her under Bangor.
Bangor - Hey Hun I see your in town tonight fancy some fun
I actually didn't want to because I couldn't get Sophie out my mind
Me: Hey sorry I can't tonight we have a quick turnaround and we got leave straight after the show
I was only a little white lie we did need to get on the road but I still could have fitted in a fumble, but I didn't want to to be honest.
I was about to go on stage so I decided now was a good time to text her
Me : Hey Sophie it's Luke, Luke Bryan. Kerrie gave me your number, I just wanted to say thank you for breaking my fall the other night. I'm about to go on stage wish me luck.
I kept it simple nothing to full on because as Kerrie said she is a nice girl
Sophie: Hey Luke. Your welcome and good luck. 😀
Me: Next show is in Alabama in three weeks, I can leave you a ticket if you would like
Sophie: seriously that would be fantastic, can you make it two for me and my friend Kara
Me: No problem consider it done. Can I call you after the show, you know just to let you know I am ok n all
