I am on my way Home 🏠 after a month on the road. I really miss Sophie especially with her being pregnant 🤰, but then again it's the one thing that's keeping me going all this time. When I get home hopefully Sophie will be at my place and all her stuff will be moved. She has decided not to sell her place but she will put it for rent, it's her way of being independent which I find cute. I pulled up my drive and Sophie's car was parked up, I smiled. I grabbed my bag and headed up the steps and opened the door, I heard my music playing from the kitchen sink followed the sound and there she was dancing away to That's my Kinda night. I just leaned against the door and smirked. She turned round and jumped a little "Luke oh my god your home" she said running over to me "God I've missed you" I said kissing her deeply "Me to baby, me too" she said "And how is my little man doing" I said to her belly "Hey enough of little boy it might be a girl, and he or she has been ok, I ain't been sick that much" she said "Oh baby have you been ill" I said hugging her "I have been ok. I think Sarah kinda knows she keeps making passing comments" she said "You haven't said have you, I have been so good at keeping it a secret" I said "No I ain't" she said "So why are you so happy about and what are you cooking it smells fantastic" I asked "Your home, we are going for our Christmas tree and I have made a Pecan pie 🥧 " she said "Oh I love Pecan pie and a big ole glass of milk" "I thought you might, especially since you missed Thanksgiving with me, I thought we could have it tonight, the turkey is in the oven" "Fantastic, catering is good but not like Home. Do you wanna go now and pick the tree or leave it till tomorrow " I asked "Now I can't believe you even had to ask" she said jumping up and down "Well come on little lady lets go get our tree 🌲" We pulled up at Santa's Trees in Franklin

And Sophie was like a little kid "Oh baby I have never had a real tree before" she said hiking on tight to me "Well we need to pick the best one in the lot, for the best girl in my life" I said kissing her nose. This made her blush "How do we know the good ones" "Leave it to me" I said winking 😉 Thirty minutes later there it was the most beautiful Fraser fir tree
